So many times I hear people say, «I can’t even draw a stick figure». «Have you ever tried?» I have created step-​by-​step instructor guided paint parties to assist with that creativity. They are filled with fun, color, and no worries. I want people to have a place to escape from the everyday hustle and bustle

Hi, my name is Renee Vandevere and welcome to «Paint Like Picasso». I am a self-​taught artist specializing in children’s murals, faux finishing and fine art.

Over the past 20 years, I have engaged in a number of artistic endeavors. Beginning with painting furniture and collectibles for a specialty store in my hometown of Jackson, Mississippi, I evolved into specializing in creating children’s murals and decorative finishes. I eventually turned the corner of this artistic path and began to utilize my talents to express my inner voice through painting abstract art. Though my fine art style would be classified as abstract, my art continues to evolve as my life continues to grow and flourish; through the inspiration, energy, feelings, passions, and moments that life perpetually brings.
