Like the doctor; nice staff; HORRIBLE communication. Who returns calls by the end of the next business day? Who doesn’t have a receptionist to answer the phone? I was told they would let me know when my glasses would be in and it’s been a week and not a peep. Now, i just keep getting their recording. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Frustrating!!!

I am still dealing with this office regarding payment!!! I called to ensure they accepted my insurance just as it was laid out to me by my provider. They said they did. I had an exam in early July. They were nice when I came in. First thing, I am pressured into doing their Optopmap Retinal exam as opposed to dilation. That’s $ 40 bucks. I do not like being upsold within the first 5 minutes, or at all really. Dr. Norton during the visit said she would order me several different trial contacts to try out. However, her staff tried to get me to pay hundreds of dollars for a year supply before even knowing which contact brand I would end up needing. I was told after my visit that my insurance didn’t cover my fitting fee (contacts) but my contact allowance could be applied to that. Great! Do it. I came back for a follow up appointment 4 weeks later and found out I owe a balance. What?!? Apparently, a fitting fee cannot be covered by the contact allowance. However, my insurance says something totally different. I was charged another $ 60 dollars for my follow up visit. Wait, I called and asked if this follow up visit was included in my initial copay and was told YES. Apparently, if you have any issue with your eye, that is then a medical visit and you’ll be charged $ 60 bucks. I may have had an issue with my eye but the reason I came initially was for a prescription not my itchy eyes. I am still trying to hash this thing out and have yet to get an actual prescription. Each member of their staff, 3 in total, all tell me something different. No one seems to be on the same page which is extremely frustrating for a patient that makes the effort and calls in advance to ask questions. Dr. Norton is very knowledgeable but could improve on her «bedside» manner. They do have cute glasses but they are pricey so if you don’t have insurance coverage, I wouldn’t recommend buying there. I will not return to Park Cities next year when an exam is needed. And, I’d encourage anyone considering them to be sure to call before stepping a foot into their office to ensure there aren’t any pop up charges along the way. Then type up what they tell you and ask for a signature… in blood! Absolutely ridiculous!!!

Knowledgeable Doctor, advanced equipment, friendly staff, and a good selection of frames. Having said that; I went in for an eye exam on 9÷12÷2011 to replace my broken glasses. As it turns out because of my insurance Park Cities Eye could not fill the prescription themselves and it had to be sent off to my insurance company. I was told on the front end that this could take up to 8 weeks. On 10/​21/​2011 I called Park Cities Eye to check on the status because I had not received a call, text, email or smoke signal from them. As it turns out my glasses were delivered on 9÷25÷2011! Almost a month had passed and not one effort had been made to communicate this to me.
I do not fault Park Cities Eye for having to ship off the glasses, but I prefer to do business with people that take ownership of what they do. It takes 15 seconds to pick up a phone and call a patient to keep them informed. Park Cities Eye was not able to do this and therefore I would not recommend them.

This was the best experience I’ve ever had at an eye exam! The doctor was fantastic and explained everything and her staff were as sweet and professional as could be! There was no wait at all and the checkup was thorough yet quick! Love this place!

I have been a patient at Park Cities Eye Associates for around three years now, and I have found them to be professional and helpful. I have also gotten some VERY cute glasses there, that I always get compliments on when I wear them. I would definitely recommend them.
