Great philly cheesesteak… way better than average.

I LOVE this place! It’s walking distance from where I work, if I call up and order it’s usually ready in about 5 minutes. Amazing. I always get the same thing: 7″ Italian Sub(Grilled), curly fries and a beverage. Today the owner told me there is a Thursday special— my total was only a little over $ 6! For what you get and how amazingly good it is— that’s a great deal. Super nice and courteous service. Couldn’t be happier!

Very cute shop with a small town feel. The food I got was good, the 5 in is tiny though

We stopped in today for lunch today & we thought it was amazing– even my 7 year old! I had The Mushroom & loved it. My husband had the Pepperoni Pizza cheesesteak & he loved his too. We don’t get to Lakewood often, but whenever we do in the future, we will definitely be back!

This place has the greatest Turkey and Italian sub sandwiches — make sure to get the meat and cheese grilled on them as well. Great deals and great staff!

I work across the street at Lakewood Towers. I stopped in and didn’t want a Cheese steak as it sounded too heavy. Thus, I decided on a Turkey sub. I had them heat and melt the meat and cheese. It was fantastic! Bread was on point. They have a small(5 inch) option that was $ 6 with chips and a drink! I will be back. This turkey sub beats the hell out of Subway!

This place is waking distance from my house and rated well so I really wanted to like it… I got a chicken cheese steak, the meat was bad quality and cheap tasting, I can’t imagine the beef. I didn’t even finish it. The service was timely but everyone seemed angry and negative. The inside is small, not a problem for me normally, but it all appeared kind of dirty and old. The distance and cheap prices are not enough of an allure to get me back.

Be warned. This is no quality treat. I was very excited to see a place that delivered cheesesteaks, but what I got was surely frozen meat. Also, it was extremely overcooked and soggy. Don’t do this to yourself. The fried cheese is alright, I guess.

Nice selection of philly cheesesteaks at an affordable price and they deliver! It’s a nice sized portion of meat and garnishes. I order from them on a regular basis when I’m working in Lakewood.

The food is always made right when it’s ordered, it’s super delicious, and the folks who run it are always friendly and have a smile for you! We moved across town but this is definitely a place we’ll drive back over to eat at still :)

Awesome food and even better service! We drive 50 minutes each way to this place about once a month to satisfy our craving for a Philly Cheesesteak. These are some of the best cheesesteaks in town. It is unfortunate that there are only a couple of locations left in the DFW area. We tried the Arlington location as well and it was not as good as this one. The owner and his staff are super nice. They always remember our usual order and serve it with a smile.

Solid Phillies, nice folks running the joint. We got the mushroom version, tasty with fresh toasted bun. Mushrooms make a philly better, always, FYI :) We shared a 10″ sammy, got a generous tasty orders of rings, out the door for $ 10. We’ll be back. PS: if you like singing loudly in confined spaces to hear the echo and sound a bit more like an opera singer, the tunnel that runs along the side of this place to the back lot is perfect for such foolishness. You know who you are– enjoy it.

Delicious, Superb, Tasty, Wow… All of these words can describe the Philly Cheesesteak picked up for me in Dallas, Texas from Philly Connection. We had a Philly Cheesesteak with grilled onions and mushrooms. It was marvelous — large enough to satisfy your hunger, tasty enough to make you come back again, and delicious enough to order over and over. Ooey, gooey cheese with lots of thinly sliced steak. My biggest pet peeve is grilled onions that aren’t softened all the way through, i.e. not cooked long enough. Philly Connection made me happy with softened, grilled onions and lots of mushrooms. I recommend it for anyone’s cheesesteak cravings for around $ 7 or $ 8. Apparently, they’re a franchised chain.

Solid Philly cheesesteak for Dallas. Not the best I’ve ever had like those in Philly, but pretty good and I have extremely high expectations. I wish they had cheese wiz.

Ever since A&D’s closed down, I’ve been looking for a new cheesesteak place to take that coveted #1 spot in my heart. While I wouldn’t give Philly Connection that spot just yet it is fantastic, and after having«the works» I’m ready to go back and try some of their other concoctions. Hot and fresh, melty cheese and a toasted bun left me with a smile on my face and a satisfied tummy.

No one is surprised that I love a cheese steak sandwich. I LOVE cheese and it’s right there IN the name of the sandwich. And then there’s steak, my second favorite food. Add peppers and onions and I start to drool like Homer. There’s nothing this place could do different. The food is great tasting. The service is great. These folks have been serving me sandwiches for as long as I’ve lived in and around the Lakewood area. They are always involved in the neighborhood and with the schools.

This place is easy to miss, so keep your eyes peeled the next time you’re rolling down Gaston. It’s the only cheesesteak spot in the area and it’s damn good, I tell ya. Fresh ingredients(onions, peppers, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes) are used to create your sandwich made fresh to order right in front of you. On top of being super fast, they are super cheap. It doesn’t get much better than this… except it does. They deliver. At no extra charge with minimum of $ 12 order. I’ll definitely be keeping this place in my rotation as a nice change from my usual GAPC or Bangkok City(two of the most convenient delivery options in the area). I recommend going for the one of their several different versions of the famous cheesesteak or perhaps one of their cheesesteak alternatives(i.e. wings/tenders, salads, specialty subs).

One of the best overall phillys ive had in Dallas. The bread was soft and the meat and cheese were melted perfectly. Got two plain Janes with mushrooms for $ 15.

Best cheesesteaks in Dallas!!! Seriously these guys do it right, thin shaved beef with great toppings… and they have Tasty Cakes! Tasty Cakes seem to be just about impossible to find outside of Philly and when these guys have them they sell out quick so it’s not always a guarantee that they’ll have some when you show up. I don’t know how these other peeps didn’t have great sandwiches. There used to be a Philly Connection near my old house at Bush & Tollway and I went there all the time, same great quality IMO. Unfortunately it went out of business years ago along with many of the other locations around the metroplex. Now only this one and one in Arlington remain. I’ve never been to the one in Arlington but Unilocal reviews state the owners are A-holes which is unfortunate. The Lakewood owners/employees are always very cheerful and friendly and serve a damn good cheesesteak. Also, I’ve never been to Philly but I know they use cheese whiz for the«authentic» steaks but I really don’t understand how one would prefer cheese that comes in a 5-gallon bucket to real cheese.
