Pink Toes Nail Bar & Spa

We got stuck in Dallas on 28 — 30 December 2015. I needed my nails done and after calling around Pink Toes were the only ones that could fit my sister and I in. What an awesome job and the customer service was great. My nails lasted the rest of our trip around USA and back home in New Zealand. If we ever get to Dallas again we will come for our nails again. I got a Nexgen mani with Teresa and she did a bang up job. My nails look great and she was very thorough. The only reason I didn’t rate the salon a 5 was that there were some scheduling issues. I will definitely be going back.

A professional nail salon that offers a lot of services. They are not cheap, but their prices are fair. I got my brows and lip waxed for 20 bucks. They have a private room for the waxing. It’s very clean and open. They have an envelope that you can put the tip in so you aren’t running around looking for the person who took care of you. They texted me an appointment reminder. I plan to return.

I recently changed jobs and now work in downtown Dallas. I needed to find a place to have a quick lunchtime mani/​peid when my schedule was pretty busy and can’t get to my regular place. This was the only place near my office that I found and I was in a bind needing to head to a Friday evening wedding after work.
I had an 11:45a appointment that I was told would last 1 hour. Seeing as this place is in downtown/​business district, I expected to be in and out quickly because that would be the presumed daytime clientele. I arrived on time with the place empty, I waited 10 minutes for them to set up the pedicure chair, I was given a 30 minute pedicure (no massage) then I was moved to a table on the other side of the space and waited for 15 minutes for a different technician to then do a 20 minute manicure (again, no massage). Overall my service took 1h15m and then another 10 minutes to check out.
For a $ 65 mani/​pedi, I expect both services to be completed simultaneously and last about 40 – 50 minuets, including at least a 5 – 7 minute massage. My nails looked decent but there was no relaxing aspect to the process. The chairs are uncomfortable and the moving around the facility mid service was inconvenient and caused smudges that needed to be fixed.
Bottom line: If you want a quality mani/​pedi over a lunch break, don’t expect this place to give you what you need. It is overpriced, slow, and provided mediocre results.
[For reference, I am comparing this to my usual nail salon experience in University Park, where I get a full service mani/​pedi (including massage & paraffin) done at the same time by 2 people and it takes 1h max for $ 48.]

I tried this place out since it was in walking distance from my apartment. First, I loved the online booking through Unilocal.It was so easy and convenient! I love the style of the salon — it doesn’t look like your typical nail salon that’s on every corner. I thought the pedicure seating was so cute and surprisingly comfortable then I found out that they are also massaging chairs and they actually do a good job! Taylor was my technician, she was awesome! She was so sweet, friendly, and precise! I recommend the Milk & Honey scrub, it smells so delish! They also do threading, waxing, massaging — I will definitely be back. I love that it’s a one-​stop shop! Side note, quite a few men came in and out for threading — so don’t be shy boys!

My 1^st time in for service, loved it! Lisa did my mani and next gen! I’ll definitely stop in again!

After reviewing the website, Instagram and Unilocal.Let me just say, things aren’t always what they seem.
I booked an appointment same day, got in, was greeted by the owner. She is a doll. Very accommodating and very polite. She introduced me to my nail tech, Jilma and explained to her what I’d like done on my nails.
Jilma brought me over to the nail bar, which is a bit uncomfortable but looks great. Her perfume was so strong It gave me an instant headache. She began removing the gel polish I had on top of my acrylics. I engaged in small talk with her, knowing the place was new, I asked «When did you guys open?» She responded with «I don’t know, today is my first day» (Jaw drops, no one wants to hear that it’s someone’s first day, whether you are in a hair salon, nail salon, you name it.) Giving her the benefit of the doubt, I then asked where she was before, and she told me she worked at another nail bar for 6 months…
I received a phone call from a friend in need… Saved by the bell.

Stopped here while at a conference downtown and will be going back tomorrow to continue my treatment. Needed a nice place to get myself primped for a wedding I’m in this weekend, and this did this trick.
This is a beautiful little nail bar off Main Street, I grabbed a gel mani and eyebrow wax at lunchtime. Tons of gel colors to choose for my nails, my manicurist was accommodating and friendly and did a great job. Same with my waxer, she was quick and did a great job. The woman who did the threading had a long line so clearly she’s in high demand! The whole thing took an hour, they place was very nice and I’m going back tomorrow for a pedicure!

The shop is located in downtown Dallas, close to several hotels, easy to get to.
It’s a large, open space. It’s definitely not geared towards the guys… but they do offer guy specific services .
Seating was comfortable and there is wifi and IPads at all the service stations.
Stacy took care of me and she was great. She knew exactly how much to talk and when to let me zone out. She was professional and did a great job!
Stacy’s massage skills were excellent! I’ll definitely ask for Stacy next time.
Overall service was great and the business itself seems clean and runs well.
Price point seems fair and three are lots of discounts available… I like that they offer residents of downtown a discount.

This place overcharges what they quote and the nail technician I was assigned was decent at doing the nails but was somewhat unprofessional in the etiquette department.
We were visiting Dallas from NYC, and stopped in in-​person and asked if they would be opened for Memorial Day and a quote on the same nails as I currently have.
I am very consistent and always get the a solid color with a half moon tip on my stiletto nails. I showed the receptionist my current set and asked for a quote for a full set of the same thing. I made sure to tell her that I wanted a FULL SET and not a FILL. She quoted me $ 35 for the full set and $ 5 additional for the half moon tip design. I was stoked thinking this would be comparable to what I pay at home!
When I showed up for my appt, the technician complained about having to do a soak off on me and telling me that she’s only allotted 45min to do my nails and that’s not what was booked for me because now she needs to waste an additional time on me for a soak off. She did it anyways because I insisted that I wanted a full set and not a fill like I told the receptionist! So after a little bit of attitude, she eventually did the soak off. Meanwhile she was complaining in front of me and my friends, who were also getting a mani/​pedis next to me, saying things like «UGH…WHY are we even open today?!» (It was Memorial Day). It’s unprofessional to complain in front of your customers, save that for your boss in the break room.
She was good at shaping the nail to the stiletto point I like, but didn’t bother asking what length I wanted and just went ahead and started the acrylic powder fill before I had a chance to look at it. The fill was lumpy and too thick, which I did not notice till the color was already on.
THE WORST of it all: I was charged $ 14 for the SOAK OFF, $ 35 for the full set, and $ 12 for the half moon design. Far exceeding what I was quoted. I’ve never been charged for a soak off in ANY place I’ve ever been to in NYC and LA when getting a full set and I’ve been doing this for a long time. I asked why the $ 12 for the half moon tip, and they told me it’s $ 2/​nail, which doesn’t make sense because, like normal ppl, i have 10 nails! And because I had to pay before the color was on, I left a 20% tip on a crappy half moon paint job that accentuated the lumpy nails. All the half moon designs were uneven.
All in all I paid $ 73 for something I could’ve gotten at home in NYC for $ 50. Good think I didn’t get a pedi with it. And here I thought NYC was suppose to be the expensive one…

I took a friend of mine there and she liked it. These people are slower than molasses.

Finally, a one-​stop shop for brows, nails, massage, and other spa services in the heart of downtown Dallas with great prices.
So far, I’ve been here for brow threading by Nikki Amini and she is amazing! Nikki is there on Sundays and Mondays (She’s in a Frisco salon the rest of the week). It’s best to make an appointment by calling Pink Toes or visit their page on

The salon is so open, bright, and clean. They have a great playlist but you can also listen to whatever you like using their headphones and tablets.
I watched as they prepped for a pedicure and you don’t have to worry about sticking your feet in right behind another person. They use protective plastic and thoroughly sterilize the area.
Everyone is friendly and ready to pamper you. I will definitely be a regular and explore the other services.

I really think that if the award was for the best LOOKING place to get a manicure, then hands down Pink Toes deserves the title. But the best place to get a quality manicure, ummmm they lose.
I won’t even address the appointments not being timely, I’m just going to address the workmanship.
I have gotten three gel manicures from this place, and each time, within 24 hours one has chipped. I am aware of there guarantee but who has time to keep going back, how about getting it right the first time! My time is valuable and I’d be going back every other day for a nail polish repair if I stuck with this place
The pedicures are great, my polish always lasted on the pedis I got here.
I really really wanted to love this place and wanted it to be my bi-​weekly manicure spot, but I just can’t. I may try again in three or four months.

My first time here was on 2÷15÷15. We got the couples VIP package which included a mani/​pedi combo and hot stone hand/​foot massage. The overall experience was great, both of our technicians were friendly and personable, which goes a long way in terms of customer service.
I loved the seating for the mani/​pedi and if I was by myself would have totally utilized the headphones, and ipad they have available to you. The honey scrub they used on me was amazing! They have 3 options all together, all smell great.
I appreciated that they used individual bowl covers so you didn’t have to really worry about any germs, etc. Everything is kind of individualized.
Overall, the experience was great. It was a nice treat only made better by the two ladies who assisted us. Their names escape me, but if the owner reads this then it was the two ladies working around 4:45 pm. I plan to request them (slim asian young lady and slim African American young lady) again when we return.
The expierence was worth the trip to downtown.

I’ve been extremely satisfied with my service every time I go. The downtown location is convenient and the prices are reasonable. The staff are always attentive, friendly and helpful.
I see Elena Jaxon for sugaring, which is an alternative to waxing. I’ve tried threading here before and was happy with the girl who did it, but I overall am just not a fan of threading.
They advertise that they welcome walk-​ins, but I would recommend making an appointment, even if it’s for the same day.

Finally! A nail salon that suits its downtown surroundings! I ran in for a quick manicure on my way to a late happy hour. I originally opted for the cheapest mani but was told the next one up was what I really wanted (the other was essentially a polish change). At ~$ 10 more, I agreed and I’m glad I did!
I sat down at the nail bar, grabbed a glass of wine, and was greeted by Taylor! Taylor was a dream. She was incredibly sweet and gentle. She talked when I wanted to talk but also let me daydream and watch Millionaire Matchmaker on one of the two the big screens. She did a great job on shaping my nails and curing my cuticle disaster. She went to town polishing my pretties and was super meticulous to ensure I didn’t have a brush of polish out of line! My manicure looked great and dried evenly and smooth — in fact, my normal mani lasted almost two weeks!
The space is decorated with great taste and fun. I can’t wait to return for a pedi so I can try out the comfy seats, iPad mini, and Beats by Dre! Such thoughtfulness and attention without feeling like you’re totally being ripped off.

Pink Toes is really a great nail salon. I checked it out this past Sunday. I walked in around 3:20 PM and was told that the next available technician could see me at 4:20 PM. No problem as they have very nice accomodations while waiting. I grabbed my iPad mini and was given a glass of cabernet and I sat patiently for about an hour.
My technician, Tish, was slightly running behind (approx.15 min) but was very sweet and let me know she would get to me and my toes as soon as she finished up. True to her word, I was placed at a very comfortable station. The décor is really beautiful in this salon with two nice size flat screen tvs on opposite ends of the salon. I was impressed by how clean the place was as well as not smelling any chemicals while there.
Tish did a great job with my toes. She was firm but gentle while giving my pedicure and pleasant but not intrusive. It made for a very relaxing visit and I most definitely plan to go back in the next two weeks.
*****Added bonus is they validate your parking for the Aldophus parking garage across the street so no need for extra change to put in a meter.

I’ve had the privilege of visiting Pink Toes twice. The first time I was scouting places for my wedding party mani-​pedis. I was so impressed by Pink Toes that I chose them to host the mani-​pedi party!
The place is so awesome, I love the set up — the iPads, the Beats by Dre headphones. The champagne/​wine/​beverage service. Everything is just so up-​to-​date and funky!
The services are also great as well — the only disadvantage is if you want fake nails/​acrylic — they do not use drills so it will take a little longer than forever to get them done here. But other than that, great customer service and quality end result.
I love it!

Just passing by and decided to stop in and give my sad nails some help. walked in and was seated within 5−7mins. Had Taylor (sp) as my technician. she’s great. The environment is friendly, laid back not pretentious at all. The pricing and service menu is clearly available at the front desk as soon as you walk in. They offer you a nice hydration option as well. who wouldn’t want lovely nails while you sip ;)
