Portella Custom Iron Doors

Horrible service. Expensive, high quality product that one would expect reasonable service from. Ordered units, in excess of $ 100,000, with specified delivery in September 2014. Had contractor contact Portella on scheduled shipping date with no reply. After four telephone calls and two e-​mails over a ten day period, finally had someone to talk to. Was advised that they had a «glass supplier problem». No delivery estimate provided. Had to continue to call Portella to try and obtain a delivery date. Finally units were shipped but only after the entire project was delayed for seven weeks due to Portella. Asked Portells what they intended to do about this. Standard no reply. Great product but horrible service.

Absolutely Horrid Service. Did not hold delivery dates, waited 6 months for my door on a 3 month project. The door closer broke on it after 6 months and it is now 4 months later and they still wont send me a replacement.
Use Hope or Crittell. They might be a few dollars more, but, wholly worth the lack of headaches.
