Reunion Lawn Party

This is the first summer they had these and it was great. A free event that stresses music and being outside. I love that they provide lawn games for you to use and shares with others. This is great for the community and is the perfect event for singles, marrieds, and families.
They do not allow outside food or beverage but did not screen too carefully. They sell both inside for a reasonable price. As for the entertainment, it was all top notch. The last Saturday of June, July and August is when the event was. Hopefully, they do it again not just in the summer!

This is great event to come to and relax and eat and listen to live music. I came to the last event of the Summer (August 29, 2015) and I loved it. The musician got pretty boring because he played slow country songs. But the Mavs dancers performed and that was pretty cool. The cheerleaders also walked around before the performance to meet fans and take pictures. They were super sweet.
This park used to be the home of Reunion Arena but that was torn down a few years back and now it is the home of Reunion Park. The venue looks onto downtown Dallas. The view is absolutely wonderful! The food-​trucks were awesome as well. There are so many to choose from and so many tasty trucks. My favorite is the Hamburger Sliders truck. Make sure to bring a blanket or chairs because everyone just chills out on the lawn eating and drinks and spending time together.
One of the downfalls to this venue is that people would stand-​up near the stage to get a better view of the performers, but because the venue is full of people sitting on blankets and chairs to watch the show, all the people that were standing up in the front blocked the entire show for the majority of folks. No one stepped in to ask folks to sit down or lower themselves. I noticed a lot of people near me pretty frustrated because no matter if they stood or sat they could not view the stage.
Overall though, I love that Dallas is doing more community events like this. This is a great event for families, singles, lonely folk, couples, and just anyone around town. It reminded me of my days in Austin. Great event and food, I can’t wait to see how this grows in the future.

Came here on Saturday just gone. Reunion Tower will be doing this lawn party every last Saturday of the month, for the summer. It’s free to get into though security is strict and won’t let you in with bottled water — which is crazy, this is Texas. Especially as they had a water cooler for free water! They wouldn’t even let me in with my little bags of chips, I forgot where even in my bag. Anyway lots of food trucks to choose from, local beer and live music. Bring a blanket and chill on the lawn.

This is awesome once a month they will be having this Reunion lawn party at the Reunion park. Best thing it’s free with the exception of parking. Live music, food trucks and local brew what else could you ask for. Beer is roughly 6 bucks.

Such a great weather for this nice community event by the Reunion tower every last Saturday of the month during Summer season. Here you have lined up trucks with their tasty treat. There’s a beer and wine tent for adult bevs and a huge area to play and run around for kids and adults. If you are here to hangout and eat while listening to the band it’s recommended to bring your lawn chair or blanket for you and your family/​friends to sit on.

Free! Plus beer garden, lawn games, food trucks and live music! With an awesome view of the city, what else can you ask for?
Just don’t forget your pick-​nick blanket!
