I love this place. An epic hole-in-the-wall gem, that everyone must experience. A flavor explosion from plate to face. I just wish there was a place half as good as this back home in Illinois. First off, their salsa is the best I’ve ever tasted. It has flavor AND temperature, and they do sell it for you to take home. We just bought 4qts to take back to IL. Do yourself a favor and get the Queso Flambiado. It’s like«dinner and a show». And it’s delicious. The horchada is downright delightful. I’ve gotten the chimichangas, the spinach enchiladas and a lot of others. They’re all good. But the chicken enchilada stole my heart on this last visit. Until next time… I will miss you.

The best Mexican food I’ve had in many years. I definitely must come back the next time I am in town.

A great casual small Mexican food place. I’ve eaten there many times over the years and it has always been good. I went in tonight and had the combo fajitas. They were great, the service was fast and the prices were reasonable. I love the cookies at the end of the meal. This is not the place to go if you are looking for hip, fancy, or atmosphere. However, if you are looking for great food at reasonable prices in a hole in the wall, Reyes is the place for you.

Yeah, I used to frequent this place at least once per week with my dad in the late 80s through mid-90s…then I went back last year during my birthday road trip… the tostada sonora is the way to go. Picture a huge tostada loaded with toppings for $ 5…Nothing short of a delight. Don’t let the location unsettle you, the food is totally worth it, though the neighboorhood has sketched out in the last 10 or so years. Viva Sr. Reyes!
