The staff at the door is not very polite. Oh, and before I forget THEY NEED AN ATM! If you decide to try it, bring cash to pay your cover, but the bar does take credit card/​debit card.
The drinks are okay. The service could be better. I haven’t had their food, so no opinion there. The music is good. They play salsa, merengue, pop… a little bit of everything. Over all the place is cozy, and the decoration gives it a chill, intimate feel. With more attention to their service this place would be a nice hang-​out.

I love this bar. It is a gem. I have never had the food but I hear that it is terrrific. Bar service is excellent. Strong drinks, cute bartenders. Ambiance is one of the best in Dallas, great date place. Music is eclectic and changes from night to night. Private seating and fabulous décor also with a nice little dance floor. I love this place!

A cozy, dimly red-​lit Moulin Rouge Lounge located right off Inwood and Lovers Lane … I found myself spending Halloween and on/​off Fridays at Rouge the resident DJ there spins old school hip hop, breakbeats and house from time to time. If you get there early enough you can enjoy five star tapas and dance off those calories to a cozy polished cement dance floor.
The décor at rouge is a what I would describe as baby posh spice. Meaning its small, intimate and lush. The bar is never too packed and the people there are pretty friendly. This is a good first date place since you can always avoid the awkward silence with the DJ spinning a surprising sample of En Vogue in the background and exclaim, «Oh my god, do you remember that song?!»
