Opening in November 2014, Ruff-​N-​It is owned by Anje Clayton who has 15+ years experience in animal care. Anje has put together a very efficient, & loving, team at Ruff-​N-​It that will take excellent care of your fur baby while you are away!

Ruff-​N-​It has 31 doggie dens & 4 suites. Our dens are stainless steel with FRP side & back panels for pet safety. Each den includes a Kuranda bed & stainless steel water bowl. Our 4 suites, for small to medium size pups, are off of the kennel room providing a more quite & serene environment. The suites have their unique theme, be it our Paris, Nautical, Safari, or Harley suite!

We have a large, divided outdoor play area, as well as a large covered play area for inclement weather days. Our boarding guests are taken out a minimum of 4 times per day. The dogs are placed into play groups so that they have great interaction with their furry friends, if they are play group friendly.

Our dog boarding starts at $ 25 per night. We also offer boarding for cats starting at $ 12 per night. We have a growing Doggie Daycare Program, should you want to provide the perfect playtime for your fur baby while you are at work, or out running errands!

We also offer training classes & a small Pro Shop area!

We welcome you to stop by, unannounced, for a tour of our facility. This keeps us on our toes & will give you a unique insight into our operation. Oh, and please feel free to bring your pup with you so they can check us out also!

Anje was born & raised in the area & has had a true love for animals since a young age. Anje has 15+ years experience in pet care. Having the dream of owning a pet boarding & training business, Anje left a 16 year career to chase her dream in early 2014. Through hard work & determination, her dream was realized when she opened the doors to Ruff-​N-​It Pet Boarding & Training in November 2014.
