Established in 2002.

ScanTech was started as a specialized technical consulting service nearly 15 years ago in 2002 and has been conducting EMF Testing /​Radon /​Radiation /​Noise & Sound Level Evaluations for OSHA Compliance /​Indoor Air Quality Testing for Formaldehyde /​VOCs as well as Biomedical Implant EMI Interference Surveys for Pacemakers /​ICDs /​Cardiac & Heart Devices. We have conducted inspections and consultations for thousands of highly satisfied homeowners and businesses including many Fortune 500 corporations in the Dallas /​Fort Worth area and beyond.

ScanTech works in highly specialized areas such as medical geology, environmental chemistry and microbiology.

Meet the Business Owner

Joel G.

Business Owner

Joel Gray is a certified Instrumentation and Radio Technician with a degree in Electronic Telecommunications; and recently earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with Honors at the University of Texas at Dallas with a Minor in Nanotechnology.

He is also an official member of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers and is currently working towards another degree in Biomedical Engineering and his PE license.

He has also attended an official course for Radiation Safety Officers offered by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, and completed courses in Biology, Organic Chemistry, Advanced Microbiology, Human Physiology for Electrical Engineers and Biomaterials & Medical Devices so as to better understand biochemical /​biological hazards at the systemic, cellular and biochemical level level.
