Since December, 2010, David has been CEO of SearchDex™, the boutique SEO firm specializing in high-​end etailers. David engineered the buyout of SearchDex with a group of investors, targeting the acquisition for its reputation as a well-​run, well-​regarded technology provider.

Prior to SearchDex, David served as VP of Advanced Search Technologies, Kroll Ontrack from 2007 through 2009. This position followed Kroll Ontrack’s acquisition of Engenium Corporation, which David founded. Dave was responsible for integrating Engenium’s advanced search products throughout Kroll’s electronic discovery services business while continuing to grow outside sales of the Engenium product group. These efforts achieved all revenue targets for three years. Additionally, David was a sought-​after speaker at conferences and educational seminars concerning the use and application of advanced AI tools in electronic evidence discovery.
