Smoothie Factory

The smoothie King and TCBY no longer have the piña colada smoothie that I absolutely adore I was so frustrated but I came to the smoothie factory off of Greenville Avenue and not only did they have it, but she said that they more than likely are always going to have it. The taste is absolutely amazing it’s an actual smoothie and doesn’t have chunks of fruit nor ice in it. they know what they’re doing over here at the smoothie factory plus they have wholesale pricing for certain supplements. Got a punch card and WILL use it. –Candi

Great smoothies but they have to work on a nicer environment. Staff weren’t very friendly or willing to help.

The smoothies are great… When they are open on time. Whoever opens the store likes to roll in at 7:15 instead of the posted opening time of 7:00 AM. Half the time I just have to keep driving and get a breakfast smoothie somewhere else.

Even after giving her the $ 1 off coupon she forgot the take it off and she said well just use it next time. Smoothies were great though. Not very nice staff.

If I could give less stars I would. The staff wasn’t very nice when I came in a few weeks ago. I decided to give them another try anyway. THEY CLOSED EARLY!!! It is 10 mins before closing and the lights are off and no one is there.
They lost my business!!!

Smoothie was huge but a tad too sweet. Low rating is for employee who spent entire time talking in Spanish to his two amigos at the counter, barely acknowledging my presence. From the looks of them, there are a lot of free smoothies being given out.

Crazy selection of smoothies which for a person who is indecisive when hungry-​not good.
The smoothies are great and huge. This store is all about health and wellness. There are supplements, protein powders and bars everywhere! Don’t pull a ‘wal-​mart’, get sidetracked and leave with more than what you came in for. That is easy to do in here; which is a nod to the store and the marketing team; I mean the bars are right there on the counter in your FACE while you are waiting for them to make your shake.
This is not a bright and welcoming store, like your typical smoothie joints, it’s a little dark and stark on the inside.
Oh, and to be honest, I was planning on getting a sammich from Schlotzsky’s and ended up having to park in front of the smoothie place that is how I found it and how I ended up trying it out… se what had happened was I worked out earlier that day but come 6pm was starving and needed a quick bite. So I pulled up at Schlotzsky’s with my mouth watering for my turkey original and was compelled to get a smoothie as to not undo my work from earlier int he day. IMO a great place or a smoothie shop is next to a fast/​quick food place. It worked on me!

I wanted to use my
online coupon here, when my husband decided he wanted a smoothie. The coupon is buy one, get one free. They gave us a bit of a hard time about the coupon but eventually said it was alright.
I have piña colada. It had a nice consistancy and was pretty tasty, espeically for a person who doesn’t usually want smoothies.
My husband complained that his was too thick.
The store doesn’t feel welcoming. It feels sterile, like a place you’d want to get and go, not stay and hang out by any means.

really, truly is the best smoothie in Dallas. I recently moved across town and drive to this location (almost) weekly and WALK IN (read, no drive thru… I really should change my tagline to «drive thru queen».)
But try the acai/​blackberry/​something or other dark blue fruit drink. it’s very yummy and unlike other blended drinks with berries — -it lacks the seeds and grittiness. SMOOTH taste.

Great smoothies with protein boosters– There’s a location in uptown as well! The smoothies were great, attendants were nice, and the prices were reasonable — definitely recommend it!

Who doesn’t love saving $? $ 5 for $ 10, yes please! I hadn’t been here before so the menu was a bit overwhelming for me as I don’t know what all the extras do for you.

Worker here was very helpful. I was craving a Strawberry shake. They will fix it any way you like it instead of just picking something off the menu. I decided to make my own and pick the protein I wanted. I used the Lean Body strawberry protein and added mango. It was GREAT and had 40 g of Protein! They used rice milk which was fantastic.

THE best smoothies I’ve ever had. I always get the tropical one (no banana… I don’t know why everything on the menu insists on having banana in it) and it is wonderful. It is a great start to my morning.
The place is wall to wall health products and powders of various sorts which is a little bit offputting since I just wanted a smoothie. I didn’t know what some of the ingredients were before I went there for the first time… but did a bit of googling and learned that they use healthier ingredients and that a smoothie here is much better than an ice cream-​filled one from jamba juice. I guess this would be the Subway of smoothies and Jamba would be the McDonalds.
I went to a different smoothie factory location this morning and was a little disappointed to find out that they don’t share punch cards. That location made a HORRIBLE smoothie so I’ll be writing a review for them separately. This location on greenville is a gem.

I’m not a real health nut, so when I walked in and saw all the whey protein jars and muscle booster stuff, I was a bit worried. I had just gotten my wisdom teeth out, and I just needed something that will fill me up but need not be chewed. I’ve been to Jamba Juice, Smoothie King, and Keva Juice, but Smoothie Factory has them all beat on real fruit taste. No added sugar, just the natural goodness. I added in the immune booster for good measure to help my healing process. I have a feeling I’ll be frequenting this place for the next few days until I can chew again!

I went hear to get a smoothE after my work out lifting waits and it was good. Not expensuv and they had proteen and suppelments. I will go hear moar to get smoothees.

This is the only smoothie place to consider. They have legitimate protein shakes without the sugary crap found in Smoothie King and Jamba Juice smoothies.

Let me start by saying, «YES», I know this is just another smoothie place. Dont really think the smoothies are any better or worse than the Jamba Juice down the street; however, I will explain the 5 stars.
1) Service– The owner is absolutely amazing. Not only is he the owner, but he runs the thing himself as well, all the way down to making you the smoothie. He is friendly when you walk in, always in a great mood, positive, and very informative.
2) Products– Smoothie factory also retails supplements as their secondary revenue stream, so it does a very good job of providing the most popular items at a wholesale price… no markups. Not as much variety as Vitamin Shoppe, but most likely has what you need b/​c the owner asks about whats popular, and orders anything you need.
3) Smoothies– As stated above, the smoothies really arent even better or worse than anywhere else, but what sets their’s apart is minor. First, they are more authentic than some of smoothie factory’s varieties in that they use actual fruit rather than fruit juices, making them a little thicker and less airey. Second, the menu item «Engineered Foods» will allow you to pick any item off of his wholesale shelf, even if he has not opened it, and let you sample teh supp b4 you buy it. Goes back to the service.
Anyway, smoothies are awesome, service is out of this world, and the guy is pretty good at remembering people, so he makes you feel like a local your 2^nd time in.
