History

Established in 2000.

SPEED FC was started in May 2000 by Jeff Zisk. Serving as president and CEO, Zisk in late 1999 saw a developing need to provide support services for small parcel fulfillment services for businesses and the emerging Internet retail businesses. In December 2000, SPEED purchased the fulfillment division of a competitor and merged its operations. In 2001, the company bought a call center to complement the fulfillment house.

In 2002, SPEED developed and launched its first client web site. In 2006, SPEED launched SPEEDorder™ – an enhanced order and information management tool – and expanded its Dallas fulfillment facility. In 2007, SPEED opened a second fulfillment facility in Columbus, OH.

In 2008, SPEED moved its Dallas facility to a new building, started an Interactive Marketing division, and enhanced its fulfillment offerings with integrated Canadian manifesting through its warehouse management system.

SPEED FC is privately held with a track record of profitability.
