Business Owner

David Pidgeon has served as President/​CEO of Starpower since the company’s establishment in 1995. Under his leadership, the Dallas-​based company has grown into one of the most successful and largest custom home electronics companies in America. Mr. Pidgeon previously served as Executive Vice President of Pidgeon’s Home Furnishings, a family-​owned and operated company based in Des Moines, IA. While there, he led the Top 100 home furnishings company to become the single largest retailer of large satellite dish systems in the country with only five retail locations. In September 2011, Starpower acquired Ed Kellum & Son, an audio, video and appliance store serving the DFW area since 1948. Mr. Pidgeon’s family also owns and operates one of the largest and fastest growing flooring companies in the nation, StarFloors, Inc.
