I always get the wonderful steak fajita dinner plate or the family size fajita dinner at this place. Very convenient and easy to order quick. I love the idea of self service when it comes to condiments so I get plenty of salsa, pico de gayo and jalepeno to take with me on take outs. I crave taco cabana maybe bi weekly and it is always awesome!

I visited this restaurant at just past 6am on 5⁄4. There was one person(I think) who was working both the window and the register. I waited for about 5+ minutes before anyone spoke to me. When the male taking orders came to serve me he did not apologize or even greet me. He did not say thank you — nothing. The kitchen area(which was open for anyone to see) looked dirty. There were several people standing within 2 feet of me making food and not one said anything — like, «someone will be with you shortly» or whatever.” I often get taco cabana tacos for breakfast for meetings. I will not be using this location again.

I work nearby and we always forget how bad this place’s customer service is until we go again. Just don’t go through the drive thru. Just don’t do it. They will find a way to mess it up. Always. It’s comical at this point. We even open the lids on all the plates now before we pull away. I understand this is just low level food service, but this just tells me these people cannot read off a screen and place things in a bag. Additionally, the gentleman helping me today asked me to pull forward, brought my food out, tossed it in my car and said«have a good day» as he was walking away. So, I went inside to get salsa, but didn’t think to check for my chips and noticed I didn’t get my drink until I got back to my car. My fault, I forgot we are supposed to be checking everytime. Anyway, my employees’ orders were correct so I suppose I’ll count one order out of three with two things missing as a win. Food generally tastes fine!

Doesn’t deserve any stars. They were rude af’ I just went march 20th. Went around 1am maybe. The guys told us to wait. Because he was busy. Then when we were ready to order we asked him a question. And he rudely answered like if we were stupid for asking. We then pulled up to the window and just said wait. Another young man came to the window 5 mins later and said to pull up foward but not to far. Another 5mins later he came and he gaves us the food and just walk away he didnt say a single peep. I would expect atleast a goodnight. Or have a good one. Nothing. When we decide to open our food at home. Mu husband had ordered flautas that comes with rice and bean. It had no rice and beans. My order was the sampler. I didnt have an enchilada. The meat on my taco was not only cooked nasty it was greecy it was all oil. I was too mad and i knew if i went back i would not be to nice on my words and so i went to sleep with an empty stomach.

Regular menu items are fine. What you expect from a Taco Cabana and of course what you pay for. I come to Taco Cabanas more for breakfast than anything else and this location is terrible. I work nights so I want a place that’s supposed to serve breakfast at midnight to be able to do just that. But you get excuses from employees that the management doesn’t order enough eggs for the breakfast to be in the middle of the night… WHAT??? Then don’t advertise breakfast for that time!!! If it IS management then shame on them! I’ll go wait in the long line next door at Whataburger! Ugh!

I frequent Taco cabana and this one in particular because it’s close to my work but I will not go back here anymore. It took them 26 minutes for a salad. Lettuce, cheese, meat, and sour cream. Meanwhile the people after me got their food and one of them ordered a salad. So when I said something to them because I’m now late to work she said she’s working on it. Well she did three orders then mine. The place is a mess always and it’s hotter than hell in there at all times. I’ll stick to the one by my house from now on.

The first thing i noticed was how dirty this place was. Just filthy and an sally smell coming from the drink area. Then the girl kept saying black beans and i said i dont like black beans. About 8 tries layer her manager got the order for me. I ordered a bean burrito with onions and. Food arrived hot and tasty. A half asleep rude lady brought my food she was angry because my number fell over on the table. Well the food was good even if she was having a bad day

The employees at this location drive me crazy. Something is always forgotten and if i ask them for salsa verde they give me my order with no sauce. Every time. Taco’s are extremely greasy. Never any napkins. I was also charged for salsa at one point which i did not understand. I asked about it the next time i went and the guy said they shouldn’t have charged me. So that’s that.

First time eating here and I have to say everything was good and fresh. Ordered a taco plate with more lettuce instead of beans and was good but Front staff was friendly. Oil a star off for the man who brought me my food. Order was wrong and had beans on it. When I told him I asked for lettuce instead he took it back and yelled at the kitchen staff and person who took my order. To the point where I could hear him . Salsa bar was clean and everything looked fresh

Pretty typical Taco Cabana. The service was fast & friendly and the restaurant was nice and clean. I had the street tacos and thought they were pretty good. All in all, a good experience.

The commercial made the food look so good. I went there and ordered the fajita skillet and it was cold. Really? Was not very impressed at all.

This Taco Cabana location was never great, but it went further down hill. Not a single smile on anyone, messed up orders, burnt food. Move along. And Taco Cabana… FIXIT!!!

Went through drive through late night after flying into Love Field… pleasantly surprised to get good Mexican at a fast food joint. We got beef street tacos and brisket tacos were excellent. Guacamole was good. Sopapillas! Please try the Borracho beans are our of this world. You Can’t get this kind of Mexican in Tampa, FL at most restaurants let alone fast food. Closest would be Taco Bus.

Even though this place looks clean and nice from the inside, the food is okay. My favorite are the chicken flautas with queso dip. I remember when the food here was actually good. Now I’d rather go to El Paisa or Pollo Regio.

I generally like Taco Cabana(TC) as a «Mexican Café» in north Texas. They usually have what I like to get and this review isn’t necessarily focused on this one dining experience. It’s always clean and never too crowded. I walk up to make my order. The guy says what I assume ‘can I take your order?’, couldn’t really hear him as he’s a soft talker. I’m ordering away, he interrupts and ‘says for here or to go?’. I’m thinking there is a better way to so that, but I said ‘oh, that’s what you said. You see, I couldn’t hear you.’, no response. I received my food, got a steak & chicken fajita and brisket taco. I posted pictures to view, I think I’m kind of done with paying what I do and getting a tortilla and a little more than a few strips of meat. This is my experience with almost all TC’s nearly every time. I recently worked in the Rio Grande Valley(McAllen area) for a month and at first was a little surprised that no TC was to be found down there. It didn’t take long to realize why though. Down there, there are other similar set up restaurants that blow the doors off of TC. Great portions, real Mexican food that even Mexicans like and the places are normally always crowded for a reason. Part of me wishes I didn’t know any better and experience what places like this should be like. I wish I didn’t care about the portions vs the price. I like TC alright, I just wish they would do it better. :-/

Let me state that I feel ratings usually should really be kind of an «overall» assessment of food, service, etc. Like if I’d been to a place 6 times, and 5 times it was great, 1 time it wasn’t so great – I’d probably still call the place great. This time it’s different. I had one experience here that just takes the cake. It was ridiculously terrible, people need to know, and because of it, this place gets the lowest rating possible from me. Period. It was almost midnight and I wanted some cheese enchiladas. I also wanted to eat at my house, so I needed a drive-thru. I had been to TacoC many times before, so I got behind a suburban in line. I think it was 7 minutes before they pulled away from the ordering menu. In retrospect, I should have followed suit when the guy in line behind me reversed the car, stuck his finger out the window at TacoC, and yelled«It’s taking too f-ing long!!» as he peeled out. I optimistically drove up to the menu board, decided on my order and waited for someone to say something to me. After a few minutes, I said«Hello?» and the person on the other end said«I’m too busy to take your order». Dumbfounded, I waited a few minutes and then tried again. His response was«I’m too busy!». I asked if he was joking, and I got no response. I then asked for a manager, and the person informed the that HEWASTHEMANAGER. He again stated that he was too busy, so I offered to come inside to place my order. I didn’t really understand what he said to that, so I decided to just leave, and I left the ordering window. I then realized that there were 2 vehicles in line in front of me(I swear this had all taken 15 minutes by now) and there was a car behind me. The guys in the car were extremely out of it, and I approached them, got a strange feeling, and then locked myself back in my car. I was stuck! I sat there and stewed about the horrible service, the fact that I was trapped, waiting in line with no food awaiting me, that anyone had hired this guy – much less made him a manager. I marinated for 30 minutes in that drive-thru line, waiting for other people to get their food. Yes, 30 minutes. When he saw me, he left the window – I’m guessing to gather himself together before the imminent storm. He tried to smile at me, and I let him have it. I don’t remember the last time I was that angry. The exchange wasn’t pretty. He was extremely subservient, and he just cowered. He agreed that he was a bad manager! The other people in the kitchen were entertained and looking on. I’m not necessarily proud of myself, but it was a sincere reaction, and TacoC and that guy wasted almost an hour of my life. He ended up giving me some free cheese enchiladas, but I was still p’d off. I called the corporate offices to make a complaint, and I got caught in some sort of loop phone system. I think they’ve tweaked it so you can’t really leave any complaints. Honestly, I’ll have to be STARVING before I go there again. Truly awful!
