Tea at Taschen on Saturday 1÷9÷16. Really, my first visit, I was told by a host to sit at a certain table, and feel free to sit where ever you like. Later on I was asked to move because two people wanted to sit infront of each other, they were late, but I had to accommodate them, coming after me.. Mind this there is a price for this event of $ 59 dollars, I am paying but is now being ushered around where to sit. Lost my appetite already, looked forward to this event, no longer. Will never come back to this place, lost a new customer. The first round of food already being displayed at the table for 30 min I watched the food before the tea arrived, a run down on what it was displayed. Need I say olive oil cake dry, their interpretation of scone a big F, dry, and they topped it with some cream on top for decoration. Yes, this pastry chef is not happy, because the products crammed out were subpar and a disappointment, clearly the person has no pride in the craft and should not be baking. The products were described as moist, th as t moisture must have been the immediate sip of the tea which was not hot. Oh, what a miserable try to do tea, no culture of tea in this country and then try to make is something luxurious, the only thing that was luxurious was the price tag. One thing in this town is to skip the tea, go to Americano. .
