The installers just left our home. What a fantastic job on the installation by Ruben and his crew. They cleaned up each day to the point you couldn’t tell anyone had been working in the house. (28 windows takes about 4 days) Quality of the Windows was exactly to specs as presented in the sample. The installation began on the day promised at time of order. It was fun to watch how Ruben and crew actually remove and replace these units. I meet Martin at the state fair, very informative and professional. I recommend J and M very highly.

The workmen arrived on time each day, were very attentive to work details, explained what they were doing and asked if we had any questions each day. They cleaned up at the end of each day. After a lot of research we found Thermal Windows and stuck with this great company. This is round two installing and replacing Windows on the front of the house.
Service from start to end was superb. Our sales guy, Ricky Rhodes, has been with us from the beginning. After a long wait on production my windows got installed yesterday and today.

Based on their impressive web presence, I contacted them for a quote on replacing glass in 4 home windows. John rescheduled first appt, then came out. He was professional and knowledgable. I didn’t bother getting any other quotes. Weeks went by with no word. Then I contacted him, he blamed it on email issues and said he’d send the next morning. Nothing. I contacted him and he said they weren’t accepting small jobs any longer. Terrible service and waste of time. While I respect their decision, they should have told me that upon coming out here or still fulfilled my order before implementing this new business decision. I would not call them again.
8÷21÷15 owner contacted me with a nice apology and offer to fulfill our glass order at a discount as an apology. I’ve already ordered elsewhere but appreciated the offer and apology.

After obtaining bids from other window contractors, Thermal Windows clearly provided the highest quality at a reasonable price. They listen to their customers to provide the absolute best options custom made to their needs and desires. They were professional, timely, and efficient from the initial appointment to the final installation. My home has a new updated look and I’ve already had positive comments from the neighbors. May 2015. We contracted with J&M Glass Company (Thermal Windows) for replacing five casement windows (type 4507 and 4500) and a large sliding glass door (Type 99 012). There were three major issues that we encountered with J&M that others should be aware of before deciding to use this company. 1) The LowE/​Clear Guardian 55/​27-​argon –clear glass used is highly reflective at night (no matter how we changed our lighting) and you cannot see out of the glass. Best way to describe is that you are looking at a blue/​green two-​way mirror. The contract I signed said «clear» and I didn’t ask for a sample ahead of time so don’t assume «clear» means clear. Lastly, on the glass, one piece in the windows did not match the others. 2) The install was not completed in a professional manner and had to be re-​installed. During the first installation they left the old window hardware which should have been removed. The door also had to be re-​installed as it was not properly installed flush with the house. After the second installation the windows were not tested by the installers and the opening mechanism did not properly function. Also, there was no caulking around the windows as done in the initial installation. I gave up and told them not to come back to fix the hardware and replace the mismatched window. I wrote a check for $ 6,140.63 as the sales representative Ricky Rhodes and the president Martin Gates threated legal action if I did not pay. 3) J&M is only concerned about making a dollar and not making their customers happy. I talked repeatedly via phone and email Mr. Gates, where the conversations went from attempting to fix the situation to threatening legal action against me if I didn’t pay. I asked Martin on several occasions to inspect the work his company did but he refused. The company was not concerned about the quality of work or happiness of their customers. I have had other companies in the Dallas area out to have these windows and door replaced and all were shocked by the lack of quality on the install and the reflective glass used on a residential property. I since have contracted with another company who brought out samples, referred me to a previous job site to inspect the quality of work and product before moving forward. Do your research on this company and there a much better companies in the area that offer affordable pricing and better quality.

i just recently had windows installed in my house, all of them replaced. Not only did they do a great job but they were so professional. the workers cleaned up after themselves and they were on time, and finshed them in a timely manner, as promised per contract. I instantly noticed a difference in the temperature of my home. My house is from the 50s and i had non energy efficent windows to begin with, but these new ones go up and down amazingly and i cant feel heat or air coming through, even when i press my hand to the glass. i normally had to keep my heat at 72 in the house just to make it feel 68 and no i put it at 65 and its perfect. I am so happy. best money i have ever spent. I will recommend anyone and everyone to them. my dad is needing new windows so he will be calling them. I have even had neighbors tell me how much nicer my house looks. thanks so much …
