It was very nice. I could not find the road but I was able to see the skyline. As I parked on the side of the road, I had to climb a steep incline. There may have been a better way up but I couldn’t see it. The address was incorrect. I think it was because of the new construction.

I really enjoyed my time at this park, the view of downtown Dallas is incredible, it is really green and it seems like it goes on for ever. I got some really great shots of the city with my iPhone camera plus a nice evening out at the park with the fresh air. There doesn’t see to be much parking, however, I had to literally park on the grass by the side of the road. Inspire of that the experience was a great one.

I’ve got a few tips for you. 1. Maple turns to Routh which turns to Good Latimer, which means one street can take you from Oak Lawn, to Uptown, to One Arts district downtown, to Deep Ellum. That was fun right? 2. Wycliffe turns to Sylvan, which means one street takes you from University Park, Oak Lawn to Oak Cliff. But one of the exciting parts is that when It changes to Sylvan, there is a bridge that gives you an amazing full view of downtown Dallas. At the south end of the bridge is this park, complete with soccer fields, Bleachers, trees, a lake and some cow sculptures. Check it out after you grab sandwiches at offsite kitchen, which is on the north side of the bridge.

When I travel to other cities, I always google(I mean Unilocal) the best places to take pictures. Since Dallas is my hometown, I guess I should return the favor, This is the best place to take pictures of the Dallas skyline. If you want the reflection in the water, arrive close to dusk on a clear day.

This park has so much potential and the views of the city hare amazing. The skyline with the new bridge… the kayaks in the more pond than lake souns like a good idea and it would be a better idea if they continue doing festivals like the wind festival this past weekend. Who knew flying kites was that fun. It was great to see everyone having fun and just laying around.
