History

Established in 2007.

Transmissions By Joe started as a sole — proprietor business on a not so busy backroad in Dallas, Ga in the summer of 2007. Through excellent service and word of mouth referrals, by 2009 Transmissions By Joe was ready to find a larger location. We settled in the City of Dallas on Merchants Drive, Bus. 6. As the business grew we soon out grew our building. As luck would have it the building located on the same lot directly behind the shop became available. And in January of 2013 Transmissions By Joe expanded once again. Through customer request, our business started taking in all types of auto repairs from tune ups to brakes up to engine rebuilds.

Transmissions By Joe is now a complete, full service, one stop auto repair facility.

Business Owner

Joe grew up in a transmission shop. At 12 he started earning a paycheck after school and summers. By 14 he was removing and replacing transmissions on his own. At 16 he also was driving the company flat bed wrecker, and could rebuild some transmissions.

Throughout his career Joe has worked at different national franchises and some independent shops which has resulted in 30 + years of vast knowledge and experience in all types of transmission and auto repair.
