At least it isn’t CVS. This review, however, only applies to the Mockingbird Walgreen’s store. I had a prescription that they couldn’t get Dr’s approval on for exactly a week. Another Walgreen’s filled it in an hour. Terrible customer service and worse communication.

This is the third separate time that I have come to the drive through pharmacy window and have been left sitting at the window for 30 minutes plus with no one even acknowledging I am here. No window attendant, no person visible anywhere. I press the call button to no avail– it just rings and rings… no answer. I know this can’t be the employees fault if there is a line inside, but is a clear representation of poor management.

I cannot talk about the pharmacy there but I can say they are always well stocked, well staffed, and their photo machine works so quickly. The staff has always been helpful with anything. Especially help with the Photo Machine.

Honestly the worst pharmacy experiences! I called and talked to three people today that each did something different that screwed up what I had ordered and to top it all of they got rude with me for trying to have things corrected! Will be switching my prescriptions elsewhere.

Zero stars! Pharmacy is Unbelievably careless! We received someone else’s medication a few months ago and this weekend we had to go without an inhaler because they«didn’t receive a call from our doctor» even though we got a text saying it was ready! Manager was unapologetic and not very helpful. If you value your life, DONOT go to this Walgreens!

I really dislike this Walgreens. I have had multiple issues with management and the pharmacy. I only use it because it is incredibly close to where I live and it’s convenient. However, if I can avoid it I try to use another store. Enter at your own risk.

I’ve never picked up a prescription there without SOME issue with the pharmacy. I’ve also NEVER seen a REALPHARMACIST working there– it is all TECHS.

I shop here all the time but lately it has gone down hill. You have to track down employees to help you when you need to be checked out. The pharmacy has messed up on my proscribed medicine more then once. The service is slow and usually there is only one person working the cash register.

Over an hour wait for prescriptions. was told it would be 15 min. Pharmacist seemed put out that he had to work and was slamming things and yelling for the phone to stop ringing.

The pharmacy side of this Walgreens could use some help in the giving a shit department. They tend to treat the customers as if we are a pain in their butt. They notified me that my prescription was ready for pick up, so I walked over since it’s only about two blocks away from my apartment. This was at 11:00PM so I was ready to get my medicine, head home and go to bed. Well it turned out my script was not ready, so naturally I had to wait for«45 minutes»(aka an hour) for them to fill it. This is not a controlled substance we are talking about. It was a simple Rx that most places full in five minutes, especially in the middle of the night when there are no other people in the store. I can’t bash them too badly, because it is a very convenient location and this and almost all other Walgreens are very clean and well organized stores(the store parts are always better than the pharmacy part). I just wish the employees had a better attitude. I got the impression that I was the bad guy because they made a mistake in texting me that my medicine was ready, when it wasn’t and then I showed up during shift change and that caused the teenagers working there to have to do work instead of play with their phones and then go home. Props for eventually filling my prescription late at night. No props for the attitude and slow motion service.

I’ve only been once but the pharmacist I met with was extremely helpful and the cashier was a trooper even at 2:00am.

First, a Walgreens employee who just got off shift was allowed to cut in front of me in line. Secondly, if you don’t have a card they won’t give you the discount. Cvs always will. Next time I’ll use cvs and pass all wallgreens in the future.

I come here for my prescriptions all time and the pharmacy staff is great. However, the lady working the photo counter today was not only rude to me, but very rude to the people in front me. She said, «if you could read, you’d see what your supposed to do» but only after telling me to wait in line. This is not the kind of customer service I’m used to from this location. Very disappointed.

The pharmacy takes too long. The employees are nice but they have technical issues EVERYTIME I go. They have lost my paper script twice and failed to receive my electronic script from my physician twice. I am definitely moving to a different location because I never have can pleasant experience.

My review is for the pharmacy at this location, not the actual store. The store employees are always friendly and helpful. The pharmacy, on the other hand, is by far the worst I have ever encountered in all my years of living in Ohio, California, Illinois and Texas. I have never waited less than 45 minutes for a prescription here. If your doctor calls it in, you have to actually go to the pharmacy, tell them you want it, then they start working on it, and then you wait the typical 1 – 2 hours for it to be ready. It is honestly shocking how bad it is. I know I am not the only upset customer and surely the employees know it’s understaffed, so why isn’t anything being done about it? I have given it 7 months and it’s only getting worse so we’re switching to another. I really never thought something like a pharmacy would be bad enough for it to be worth my time to review.

It is understaffed. Expect long wait times and prescriptions not to be ready at the time they’re supposed to be. The pharmacy is currently under construction, so hopefully the remodeled pharmacy will be large enough to employ more people.

I have no beef against the local Walgreens. My beef is with corporate and so I no longer shop there. First, they introduced that dopey bonus rewards program. CVS is so much easier to understand and attain. Now it is reported that Walgreens is filing for Swiss«citizenship» to avoid US taxes. Really? No way am I shopping with them.

I love Walgreens — their entire staff have always been cheerful & eager to help. Their prices are competitive & most of the time lower than the competition a half a mile down Mockingbird, in either direction! When they advertise«SALE» items — you can guarantee that’s what will«ring-up» at time of check-out!(AGAIN, unlike their competition ½ mi. down the street). The pharmacy staff(Nina) has proven to be very efficient — going out of her way to assist us with RX’s sent directly from hospital, when I was released — and were ready for pickup immediately. If you’ve had a unhappy experience — I suggest you give them another chance… everyone has a bad day occasionally.

BEWAREOF Laura The Liar !!! I went in to pick up my monthly prescription and the Pharmacy Tech asked me if I was there to pick up a prescription in which I never elected to refill. I soon learned that the pharmacy had reached out to one of my doctors and requested to refill a medicine I never requested to refill. Basically, this Walgreens tried to automatically refill a prescription without my consent or request. This is unethical and drives up health care costs. I am not a Medicare, Medicaid, nor TriCare patient. However, if I was a patient who was covered by these government plans this practice would be against the law. Read this webpage for more information: I am upset because my doctor believes that I requested a refill on a medication in which I never made that request. My integrity is now questioned in the eyes of my doctor and overall this act is unethical. I spoke with the Pharmacy Manager«Laura» who promised me she would fax a letter of apology to the doctor’s office. I followed up with the doctor’s office and the doctor’s office never received the letter of apology. What kind of care do you think you will get from a pharmacy who’s leader is «Laura» the Liar? If you wish to hear the other side of the story you can email Laura The Liar at: I suggest you transfer all of your prescriptions to CVS at Skillman and Mockingbird. They have a Minute Clinic there, a better coupon program, and a staff with greater ethical values. Stand up against fraud. Be your own patient advocate. Stay clear of Laura The Liar.
