Wave Wash

I went in to have my car hand waxed. They washed it, dried it, detailed the interior, washed my all-​weather mats, and did a good job with the hand wax, all for a good price.

The price is a bit more than what I am used to paying for a car wash. Because of staffing, it took them some time to get to my car. However, once they started, I was very pleased with their attention to detail. They took their time, not rushing through the detailing process, and my car looks great. The results exceeded my expectations, and I would go back again regardless of the price.

Omg! This place is fantastic! For $ 7 and a quick drive thru you get personal help and attention with bug and goop removal before passing thru an amazing auto car wash. Charming, handsome and polite young men will then direct you to a free vacuum service. Incredible!

A car wash is a car wash is a car wash. I had never been here and my baby was dirty so I said why not. I mean it wasn’t bad it just wasn’t anything special either. I paid $ 15 for a wash. I t came with a 10 day guarantee which I’m not sure if that’s a rain day guarantee or a 2^nd wash no matter what like Tommy’s Terrific Car Wash.
There are no towel down services after you get out of the car wash plus there is a limited number of vacuums. I did not have to wait but I can imagine it could back up pretty easily. I liked they had car mat clamps to hang up your mats and vacuum. Small thing but I liked it somewhat.
Overall, probably wouldn’t go back. Their cheapest was like $ 7. No special perks or anything that push them above the average. Just ohhhhh-​k.

I’ve enjoyed my monthly pass and the services at a different Wave location. For convenience Friday I decided to give this one a try. Never again. In a state of confusion, Nancy (the supervisor) yelled at me and banged on the back of my vehicle as I passed through the gate that opened after I pulled up. She starts screaming that I didn’t pay. **** I HAVE THE MONTHLY PASS BAR CODE ON MY WINDSHIELD… and the bar opened for me to enter**** She continues screaming my bar opened for the guy in the other lane (who had his own bar that wouldn’t open)… Really? I paid $ 45 this month to have her hit my car so hard I thought it dented and have her scream at me because of her own mistake? Not a way to treat customers. Incredibly volatile individual to be in a supervisor position in the service industry. Careful as you pass through their gate. I’m discontinuing my pass and service. Welcome back Carmel.

Wave was a major disappointment.
I just moved from Far North Dallas, where, close by, a similar wash occupies the SE corner of Trinity Mills and Midway.
That wash starts at 3 bucks, and you can add the exact same bells and whistles. Lava, etc… but it’s not the cost, (I get that things can be more expensive in the «big city») it’s the quality.
The Greenville Ave version does a poor job. I paid for tire shine – only two tires were treated, and one of those, only partially.
Once you get through the wash, they have six… SIX vacuum bays. Sorely insufficient. (The previously mentioned location has maybe 20) We waited about 15 minutes, and it was 10:45 on a Sunday. Not peak time yet. There are only a handful of places to wait… otherwise, you’re hung out to dry in the parking lot.
Once we got in, the driver’s side vacuum was broken.
At 18 bucks for the works, this place is far from worth it.

This place was recommended to me by my friend, so decided to give it a try. Well, as soon as i arrived, they immediately catered me. They checked and started the cleaning. Yes, the service was quite long. It took more than half an hour before the service done. After all, when i tried checking my car it was so nice, perfectly done. I paid a bit high but it doesn’t matter to me at all because of the amazing result.

Problem solved. They offered me a $ 100 gift card. Great costumer service overall.

The facility is extremely well maintained. The man you speak with when you first pull up was very helpful with us when it came to selecting the car wash we wanted. The 2 men cleaning did a wonderful job wiping down the car before we went through the auto wash. Pretty amazing how many cars they had going through the wash & didn’t get backed up. The free vacuum was very much appreciated.

I just had my car ‘detailed’ I turned around to look at the back seat and it was still covered in paw prints and dust. Worst detailing I have ever had!

They threw away my carpool line card for Pete’s sake. I paid for the super clean and there was still bug remains all over my fender. Also forgot to spray my fragrance I paid for. Not going back.

I liked this car wash. You get in and out really fast and you can get text message deals. I didn’t opt for vacuuming my car, but just the basic wash was great!

I bring all my cars here. They’re quick and they do a decent job for the price (better than the regular automated car wash) I also really like the self serve vacuums (they really suck)…

Love this place! It’s fast, cheap, and much better than gas station car washes. For about $ 7, you can get a great wash and the vacuums are free and super powerful. I wash my car roughly once a year (I know… I’m bad) … but it always looks good as new when I leave Wave Wash!

I’ve been coming here for almost two years. I’ve never left unhappy. Line goes through pretty quickly and my car always comes out looking like it was fully detailed!
The only downside is that there’s always a backup trying to get to the vacuums. But hey, those are free so no room to actually complain!

LOVE Wave Wash! Not only is it super convenient but it is reasonably priced (lets face it, getting your car detailed is always pricey!) and comparable to the other detail spots in town.
Wave wash provides a 2-​for-​1 as I call it. You can either have your car detailed from front to back or you can just run it through the wash for obviously, a quicker and cheaper option. Each wash comes with free access to their vacuums so your car will be spotless regardless.
It seems as though there is always a wait to have your car detailed here but thats alright with me — they do a great job, paying attention to every single detail! My car literally looks brand new after my latest detail and wax here!

It’s an ok place where you can get a decent car wash on the days that you’re feeling a bit lazy or simply you’re not in the mood to pay the high prices at hand wash places.
Note: You have low profile wheels… I would take caution since the vehicles are guided on metal rails. So, you may consider not taking your vehicle to this place.

Today was the first sunny day in six weeks and I just couldn’t stand having Zoe (my cars name) so dirty. It just makes me depressed. The relentless rain we had this year made her look tired and dirty. I usually get a hand wax once a year and today seemed like the perfect day for it.
It had been 4 weeks since I had been to wave wash, and because of the rain I’m sure they probably had no customers for the entire month of May. However, I was surprised to see that they took advantage the time to upgrade their equipment and do some landscaping.
One thing in particular that I thought I’d note was the new tire guide rails (not sure if that’s the official term.) The old ones were short, metal, and difficult to see. Although I personally never had this issue, a few people had mentioned on Unilocal that their rims were scratched by these. Apparently the owner took notice and had new ones installed. They are bright yellow and rubber so they could not possibly scratch your rim. It’s nice to know they care!
I pulled into the waxing/​detail area and saw that they had a new bench as well. I sat down and watched the wave wash staff go to work on Zoe. I then realized that today is May 31^st, and just so happens to be the two year anniversary of the day I purchased this car. After two years of getting my car washes at wave wash, I STILL do not have one single scratch on this car.

There’s always coupons on the back of Kroger receipts for $ 5 car washes, which is awesome! They also have free vacuuming.
After coming back to Dallas from a vacation, my car was covered in pigeon feces. It was disgusting. I brought it to wave wash and they were able to get most of it off.

This is the only self service car wash I go to.
It’s fairly priced, my car always looks great and the free vacuums are always in working order!
It’s a clean, well-​lit facility and the staff is very friendly.
If you’re wanting a deal on a car detail (hand wiping inside and out) this probably isn’t your place. BUT if you just want to clear the dust off your car and get the french fries off of your floor mats, go here!
