530 am «breakfast» never tried coming from Los Angeles, ordered whataburger(tasted like stadium burgers where you put mustard and pickles/onions etc. Not bad, nothing that deserves a cult like following such as in n out or Habit. Their whatachick sucks. Horrible breading, tastes like 99cent from jack in the box or carls jr. Waste of 5 bux there. Didnt try anything else. Took about 15 minutes they were very busy diabetizing and destabilizing heart rates for many airport patrons

Boy, for an airport eatery, the line to this Whataburger, it’s unbelievably long. Decided to get on line too, and try out their burger. Extremely pricey, but tastes good for airport food.

Pretty darn good. I got the Whataburger combo with cheese, grilled onions, all the fixings and toasted bread. The total came out to be $ 8.39. This is my 1st and only experience with Whataburger so I was asked by my Texas colleagues to compare it with In-N-Out. I have factored in the airport location. I do not know if the prices are inflated although it appeared to be reasonable. The line and wait for food was quick in comparison with In-N-Out, Whataburger wins for convenience. The price is about the same as In-N-Out and therefore a draw. As far as customer service goes, Whataburger pales in comparison. I always make a point to say please and thank you no matter who you are. After about the 4th time I said thank you, the representative said thank you back to me at the end. The burger is HUGE. I know TX is famous for going big, but I recommend a mini Whataburger. Maybe they have one for kids? As far as taste goes, I love it. It depends on what you prefer, In-N-Out’s ingredients are more fresh, which is evident at first bite. I like the mustard grilled onion taste. My hubby would enjoy the Whataburger as he is not so into the organic fresh craze. The same is true for the fries. We’re both enjoy McDonald’s on occassion and its fries. These are along the same line but better. In-N-Out although fresh, sometimes lacks in taste and needs salt. I’m a fan of the spicy ketchup. Definitely worth trying and having again, but I need someone to split a combo with me next time! Conclusion — it’s a draw!!!

Blah bacon cheeseburger that pales in comparison to In-and-Out, Shake Shack, Habit Burger, or Super Duper. At least they had apples as a side instead of the usual fries.

I was super excited to try Whataburger, as it can only be found in Texas, and I was only going to be here for an hour. However, I was extremely disappointed! I ordered the Honey Chicken Toast. The fried chicken strips in the sandwich were average(a little worst than KFC), but the cheese was like white gooey plastic! The toast was a disgrace to «Texan toast». The highlight of the meal would probably be the spicy ketchup because at least it gave a taste of flavor to the bland meal.

My über driver told me I needed to try Whataburger while in Texas. So aside from my greedy tummy telling me to eat from the BBQ place in the airport I decided on this. Lines were long, so I’m thinking oh this is good. 3 cashiers with only one register taking cash. I look at the menu while in line and decide to order a jr double Whataburger and a chicken nugget kids meal. Not really too hungry. Knew I couldn’t finish either but didn’t want to starve on the plane ride. Nuggets were bone dry. Burger was extremely greasy. Fries were decent, but not hot. Sigh. They had spicy ketchup and fancy ketchup as labeled per the packs. This would have been awesome for better food. I wish I could give this a better review, but I can’t. It was bad. Really bad. I threw away half of my food. I don’t want to eat that later. It’s horrible now. It would probably make me sick if it was cold. The cashier was friendly and that’s where the second star comes from. Waste of money and time. Maybe I will try a chain location when I’m back. But for someone to compare this place to in-and-out. That’s just blasphemy.

All the food was great but we were standing in line and could have order because we were first but one of the workers was to busy entertaining the other girls at the register with her twerking!!! The lady told the lady that was twerking to stop it she said fine but this Oder I won’t even help you with then she goes behind the girl and starts twerking very smelly agin but there food was great. I enjoyed the food if it wasn’t for that I would give them 5 stars.

You can never go wrong with Whataburger! I stopped here quickly for an order of onion rings to tide me over before boarding a flight. The rings were hot, crispy, and absolutely perfect. They also came out in a timely fashion. However, the service is what was really excellent here. I asked the young lady at the cash register for a cup of ice to provide some extra insulation for my bags of frozen breast milk. She went above and beyond and gave me a tray of 4 large cups of ice for my cooler bag. Thank you SO much for your kindness! It takes an enormous amount of effort to pump breast milk and your kind gesture ensured that my liquid gold wouldn’t spoil.

Someone in my office recommended trying Whataburger while I was in Dallas. This was fast food I have no shame in saying that I was definitely excited to try! My last chance was at the airport and food-wise it did not disappoint me. If you’re not consuming close to 2,000 calories here in one sitting, you’re doing Texas wrong! I ordered a single patty Whataburger, Whataburger Patty Melt, medium order of fries, and a pepsi. WhataAmericanMeal. I went with the patty melt first and I love the combo of a burger on Texas toast. The sauce and grilled onions on it were the MVP; the second patty made it real Texas-style. I was terrified of the single patty Whataburger because I assumed it would be small, but nope! HUGE! Big bun, big patty, big errthang. It was like a regular fast food burger, but more glorified. The spicy ketchup is not spicy, it’s more on the sweet side. I wish I had picked up a few more packets of it before I left!

If you didnt know you should know that Whataburger is the best fast food burger joint other than In and Out which you cant get east of the Mississippi. This location is a little slow and my burger wasnt piping hot as it normally is at these places but it still is excellent. The fries with the spicy ketchup is the bomb.

I’ve heard people compare this place to In-N-Out. Blasphemy! How dare those people even put the two in the same category let alone sentence?! Sure I did try this place at the airport. Quality was probably not up to par with a stand alone location, but it still represents the company and their products. Unfortunately all the good I can say is that they have excellent french fries. Crispy and perfectly cooked. My WHATACHICK’N sandwich was dry and not very easy to eat. The patty was over cooked and there was barely any mayo on it. Also, a tip to the burger makers, if you warm up your buns, it makes for a better sandwich. Cold buns with a dry, warm piece of crispy chicken is not very appetizing. Whataburger was a letdown.

My relative recommend it. I ordered number one(regular burger) without onions& cheese. I also ordered the onion rings. The onion rings very delicious. They have spicy ketchup, I never saw that before. It was good not too spicy(I don’t eat spicy food usually) They sell Pepsi products! Oh I forgot about the burger It’s good just like any other ones except the lettuce was really fresh. My burger has mustards

Y’all. This place can bang out some breakfast. In a high traffic location like Dallas Love Field, you have to temper your expectations on speediness — especially at 7am on Friday. When you see a line 20+ deep, you think you’re in for an extreme wait. Think again. These guys are pros and it’s obvious. All service registers were open and ready — staff was speedy, inputting orders in 1 minute or less. These guys serve up a stacked breakfast menu — from the delectable Jalepeno Cheddar biscuits to gooey cinnamon buns to hearty breakfast taquitos. Plentiful options for the quick service breakfast aficionado. Our breakfast was out in less than 5 minutes and we were soon on our way. **Double Bonus** Sauces, jellies, etc. all ready to snag atop the counter. No need to ask. They already have them prepped to go! Try the Verde sauce for a spicy tangy kick on your taquito. Will be planning future layovers to I can hit this place up again soon… Five stars.

Whataburger is the bomb. So much so that I almost wrote ‘da bomb’…let’s be real here. Burgers are cooked fresh when you order them so they can accommodate any preference in toppings. They don’t microwave your food here(like McDonald’s or other large chain burger joints) which just makes it even better. The downside to that is that you will work because your food isn’t sitting under a heat lamp waiting for you to order it. it’s a hard life, isn’t it? Fresh food for a few minutes of a wait. They’re greasy bastards but muy delicioso! Ice cream is a pretty solid purchase as well. I am a huge fan of malts but have a hard time finding places that can get all the malt powder mixed in but never an issue here. Pro Tip: treat you might enjoy is a pie a la mode.(The lemon pie or the apple pie warmed up and put in a cup of ice cream. Holy moly. You’ve never had a small pie until you’ve done that!) Breakfast ‘taquitos’ tacos are a really great way to start off your morning. Grab some salsa, slather it on, and dig in. The more grease that’s dripping from said taco, the better it is for your arteries… at least that’s what I’ve heard ;) Whataburger ketchup is my all time favorite. I keep bottles of it in my pantry and that is no lie. I don’t ever seem to live near a W location so my mom mails me some and I keep them stocked. She’s a damn good woman for that and I swear I’m always extra nice to her around Mother’s Day for my ketchup stock(and because she birthed me. I mean, that was nice of her, too.) French fries are great, too. They’re salted so well and aren’t overly thick. When taking Whataburger to go, they rarely make it to the house… ‘Oh, I must have forgot to buy your order of fries! So sorry!’ *sneakily throws away french fry package* This location specifically is new so it’s got all the delicious goodies I’ve come to know and love plus friendly and fun employees. They’re pretty quick and I haven’t had a bad experience with them.

Looking for a great and inexpensive airport meal? This location has pricing that appears to be the same as off airport locations. Long lines but friendly staff! They ran out of buns so I got my Whataburger on Texas Toast — excellent meal!

Whataburger! Got to have a staple Texas fast food burger! Got a patty melt combo meal. The patty melt is a double patty burger with grilled onions with a sauce on a buttered toast bread with melted white American cheese. Yummy but heavy! Note that you should not eat this knowing that you have to go back to work. The fries are decent regular skinny shoes string fries. I got some spicy ketchup to add some zingy to the fires but the spicy is pretty bland.

It took me about 30 minutes for me to get my food because the chicken nuggets were being made«fresh». I personally thought that was a BS excuse for the wait time and I was right when the chicken nuggets were cold. The burger wasn’t anything special. The patty was cold and the heat lamp affect was apparent. It was more dry than California with it’s current drought. The condiments were only mustard and mayo. They only thing worth discussing is the veggies. The lettuce and onions were crisp and had a crunch to it. The burger was mediocre at best like a cheating partner’s excuse to way they’re cheating. Overall, I’m definitely opting for another fast food chain for my unnecessary amount calorie consumption. Whatamediocre.

On a prolonged layover in the Dallas airport, I was I search of a unique and enjoyable meal — so after much perusing of the terminal map, the name of one food establishment caught my eye… Whataburger. It triggered something in my memory and I recalled that not long ago Buzzfeed had reviewed some of their«must try» foods. I quickly loaded the Buzzfeed video and re-watched it — they had profound and positive reactions to the Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit and the Spicy Ketchup(with fries). In order to get a full appreciation for their food(because who knows when I’ll be in Texas again), I ordered a few foods, just so I could take a few bites as a sample. Beverage: I ordered a medium Diet Dr. Pepper… It was huge! Texas does seem to do things bigger. French Fries and Spicy Ketchup: While the fries were not remarkable, they were also not bad. I did really enjoy the Spicy Ketchup, however. The condiment is difficult to describe; perhaps described as a scenario where ketchup married sweet & sour sauce and had a small affair with Sriracha. Junior hamburger: The Buzzfeed video had alluded to the fact that Whataburger’s burgers were underwhelming. I knew this going in, but I had to try a burger anyway. Despite having low expectations, I was still disappointed — it was a typical fast food burger. I felt that it didn’t have particularly high quality meat, seasonings, or ingredients. I took two bites and tossed the rest into a bin. Honey Butter Chicken Sandwich: Unfortunately, because it was late afternoon, biscuits were unavailable; however they accommodated my order and made my Honey Butter Chicken atop a bun. This sandwich was amazing! I absolutely adored it. If I ever end up in Texas, this will be my go-to item at Whataburger. Service: The customer service was also friendly and efficient. I was rather impressed. The staff was cheerful and fun. All in all, I give Whataburger a 4 – 4.5÷5 — the loss of stars is attributed to the fact that their burger wasn’t anything special. Nevertheless, the Honey Butter Chicken Sandwich, Spicy Ketchup, and customer service were excellent. Recommendations: –order the Honey Butter Chicken(atop a bum, if biscuits are unavailable) and eat it promptly. This sandwich will get soggy if not consumed within a reasonable amount of time. Verdict: I will return, if/when ever in Texas.

My first Whataburger and it was good. I wanted to compare it to a regular Dallas stop for us In-N-Out Burger, there is really no comparison. In-N-Out Burger is tough to beat and Five Guys is better too. Sadly we have only Five Guys, so Whataburger would be a welcome addition to south Florida.

Whatadissapointment! Unfortunately, this place was right on par with what I was hoping to not receive as my dinner in the airport. Hot(but flavourless) fries, a poorly-prepared cold burger, and a no-refills soda. And when I say a cold burger, I mean oddly cold. It was like maybe the lettuce, tomato, and bun came out of a too-cold refrigerator and the burger was a victim of proximity. I didn’t read the reviews prior to trying because I didn’t have too much time — there was a swarm of people waiting to order and waiting for food which I took as a signal that the place was decent. Should have just hit the McDonalds, they probably would have been friendlier and I would have received hot food at least.
