Pretty cool store. Not really my thing, but if you are searching for some outdoor gear for camping or being out in the wild, you will find it here ! They also have cool clothing, some not strictly for outdoors. I love their book selection ! Really, hard to find type books or more collectible. For some reason, I was expecting something different. Overall, very nice setup.

Be careful, stuff this cool doesn’t come cheap. But looking is free and you could spend hours in here, there is so much cool stuff to look at. Stuff you didn’t even know you needed, they got that! The shoe selection alone is massive for fun, funky, different styles. There are clearance racks of everything so bargains can be had. They had a selection of Tom’s so if you want variety don’t buy yours at Whole Foods. Fun, engaging sales staff. Glad I stopped in and left with 2 pairs of shoes.

This place is so much fun… TOO much fun… bad for your credit card fun. I wandered in here for the first time last weekend, intending to do a quick lap/​have a quick glance and be on my way. I left about an hour later with a gigantic shopping bag. Oops.
Whole Earth is pretty much a mecca for the urban hippie/​earth crunchy hippie wannabe Dallasite. They have a very fun and eclectic variety of merchandise. They carry a pretty extensive collection of high end yoga/​workout/​sporty/​causal/​lifestyle type gear, featuring brands like The North Face, Marmot, and Patagonia– for men, women, and kids. They also have a huge shoe department, offering everything from Toms to Reefs to Uggs. Beyond that, they have display after display of awesome, random, kitschy, gifty stuff. Interesting books, decorative items, toys, stationary, etc. Really unique, fun stuff that nobody could possibly ever need, but you will wanna buy it all anyway. This is definitely going to be a go-​to location in the future when I am looking for a unique gift. Then, half of the entire store (which is gigantic, by the way) is devoted camping/​backpacking/​hikinig/​etc. gear and supplies. I didn’t really wander over there seeing as I have nothing of that nature planned at this point in time (camping sounds really fun though… hey Unilocalers, anyone wanna plan a camping trip?), but it looked as though they carried basically everything under the sun for such activities.
Whole Earth was having an amazing sale the day I visited– great prices on clothes and shoes. Unfortunately, I changed my mind about a couple of items after I got home, and I was slightly irked to read on the bottom of my receipt that sale items are not eligible for a refund. This is the kind of information I like to be informed of by the cashier, prior to completing my transaction. For that, I must subtract one star. Otherwise, this place is awesome and amazing and I will be back.
