Maryann is the bomb. She always does a great job and takes her time to make it right. Location is great, and the salon is really comfortable and not pretentious. Highly recommend.

This is a rare one for me.. .a review of a non-food establishment. I’m crazy like that. When my family moved to Dallas some 20 years ago, my dad took me to see this guy Billy to get my hair cut. Billy’s been my guy ever since. I have hillbilly hair.. .cowlicks, a rat tail, a couple bald spots courtesy of stitches amongst a number of other awkward issues. They know how to cut hair here. I can get a cleaned up cut that will last me at least four weeks before I need to head back. I’ve tried the chains and other spots around town that were closer to my house and work, but I always end up back here so they can fix me up at a comparable price. They recently moved to their new location off Dyer and it’s a massive upgrade from their previous spot off 75 and Walnut Hill. It’s new, clean and definitely a lot more modern. Hallelujah the hair cuts are still classics. Another advantage of the new spot is it’s now right across the street from Across the Street bar.. .and of course, it’s just a couple yards away from that beautiful mistress of Yale Blvd: Milo Butterfinger’s.
