Auto Collision did good work, but I’m giving 1 star because the owner Keith was about the rudest /​most combative owner I’ve ever met.
SUMMARY:
Keith took charge of my repair job when I called to express disappointment re:
1. Long delays on our minor repair
2. Zero updates for nearly 3 wks while our car was held
Keith was combative. He reneged a promise made by his employee, Grace, re: choosing a replacement part. He refused to let us pay our full bill by credit card — which is prohibited: if you join the Master /​Visa network, your network agreement requires you to accept credit cards if the customer asks to pay by card.
WHAT HAPPENED:
We dropped off our car in late April for a fender repair. Grace, an employee, advised it would take 1.5 wks, including parts /​labor. She promised we’d get updates whenever new info arose. We scheduled drop-​off 3 wks in advance and were told parts would be ordered prior to minimize wait time.
1.5 wks pass — not a word. Meanwhile, we are hobbled with no car. I called back. Grace said the fender hadn’t shipped; she’d call once she knew more.
Another 4 – 5 days — not a word. It was really inconvenient with no car. I call again. Grace said there was a «hiccup.» The OEM fender she ordered came damaged; she had to order another. That’s a MAJOR update; why didn’t we get a call? Grace said it’d be «a few more days.»
Another 3 – 4 days — not a word. Car’s held almost 3 wks now. I call again. This time Keith picks up. He said no parts were ordered. I told him this wasn’t right. I said I was unhappy there was no follow up. Every time I called there was a bad surprise. No one seemed to know, or care, how the delay inconvenienced us. Even a simple call: «Hey, the fender hasn’t shipped, but it’ll be here Thursday» would have provided assurance we were being cared for. Keith said he’d take charge and order one that morning. I was encouraged at first. He said it’d be a used OEM from a local scrapyard. Grace told us used parts often are damaged (indeed, the first one she ordered WAS damaged), so she promised we could see a photo upon arrival before deciding between OEM vs. new 3^rd party fender. I asked Keith to text me the photo.
Keith turned adversarial. He said, «I’m not here to order parts from different places for you to decide on. I’m gonna order the OEM fender and use that.» He said, forcefully & repeatedly, «I want this job done and outta here.» He said repeatedly, «If you had a Mercedes then yeah, it might be different. But your car is old, you literally have dents on the door. This isn’t a Lamborghini here.» He RUBBED that in. I get our car is old. It’s not a Lambo like the ones Keith gets. But we diligently care for our car, service it, wash it. Any car 15 yrs old will have some dents. That doesn’t give him the right to suggest «your car is shit, don’t expect much.» Plus, this repair cost more than $ 2K! For that much, is it unreasonable to confirm a scrapyard part isn’t damaged before proceeding? It doesn’t entitle him to treat us like crap. Especially when his shop screwed up, caused delays, gave zero updates.
Eventually, Keith texted a photo bc I was upset. I called and he said, in fact, the fender DID have dents! That validated me. He said they were minor, he’d fix it. I asked if he’d recommend a 3^rd party fender instead. He said he would have from the start bc no difference in quality vs. OEM (exactly opposite what Grace told us). Then he brushed me off: «I’m using this one: I want this job done and outta here.» He reiterated he’s not here to order parts and let me choose. He reminded me my car is old and crappy. Nice.
PAYMENT: Since someone else hit our car, insurance was paying. Keith said he had to charge more than the insurance estimate bc his cost was higher. I said, fine: We’d ask insurance to pay us the extra first and then we’d pay Keith. We wanted to charge our credit card and earn the miles. (Who wouldn’t?) Grace had told us no problem. But Keith refused. He said very combatively /​rudely: «No way. I have to pay card fees. I’m not going to pay YOU just bc YOU want miles.» What kind of response is that? I said insurance ALREADY paid us some, so he’d HAVE to accept credit card for at least that amount. He retorted: «Fine. But you’re not gonna pay above that by card.» He was such a jackass I just said, «Whatever.»
You aren’t required to join the Master /​Visa network, jerk. You CHOSE to bc you get more business. Card fees are YOUR cost of joining the network. By your service agreement, you don’t get to choose WHEN to accept cards. If a customer asks to pay by card, you are required to accept it. Read your agreement.
I do not understand why Keith was so combative /​nickel-​and-​dimed us. An upset customer is an opportunity to convert to a lifelong evangelist. I could have been an evangelist and recommended my tech industry friends to bring their Teslas and Beamers here… but if you want to pay by credit card, and timely updates: STAY AWAY from Auto Collison Center.

These guys are good! They took care of my car on a couple of fender benders and did a quality job. In addition, Aaron also helped me fix a trunk that won’t latch. I highly recommend these guys!

Shout out to Aaron and crew again! They did such a great job on my last car (2000 Honda Civic) that I just wanted to go back to them again. This time, Aaron and his team took great care of my wife’s and my new 2016 Honda HRV (fixed some scratches on the right rear and installed a hood deflector) in a timely matter with important communication during the whole process. I hate accidents, but I love having our cars well taken care of by these guys! It always looks like brand new. Also, they wash and vacuum each time! Wait… it gets even better… their techs and detailers, especially Mike and Armando, have passion in what they do and treated our car as if it was theirs AND they are honest! I found out that Mike didn’t have to take out our bumper and told Aaron not to charge me AND I found my long lost wedding ring, which was placed by Armando where I could see it. I’m glad and thankful! Things do happen for a reason. Thanks again guys!!!

After a minor, parking-​lot fender-​bender, I took my car to AUTO COLLISION CENTER for an estimate. Aaron immediately popped the bumper back into place, then polished the bumper and it looks fine. No charge, no insurance claim, no deductible. Thanks Aaron.

I’ve been here a few times now as I have Ameriprise insurance and this was one of my approved shops. Keith and Grace always take great care of me! The two of them give great, friendly customer service! Hopefully I won’t need to be back anytime soon, but if I do need repairs this is where I’m going!

Aaron and Pablo were both really patient and friendly. First time I was involved in an accident and they walked me through it all. Every question I had was answered. Aaron brought my car in 2 weeks ahead of my scheduled appointment, told me they can get it back to me by the following day, but found more damages when they took my car apart, ordered the necessary parts, and got the job done in 2 days. Would come back here again.

Over a week ago, I was in a 3-​car collision, where I was in the unfortunate position — the middle. So, both my rear bumpers were wrecked. I was very upset, as would anyone in my position.
I set an appointment at Auto Collision Center expecting the worst — a month in the shop, rude people, and inflated prices for the repairs. Although, I ended up not paying anything since the accident was not my fault, Aaron provided me with a detailed estimate of all the parts that needed replacement, I was surprised because the rates was reasonable.
My car only spent a week in their garage for repairs and for that duration you could see your car online via livestream to see the progress for yourself and reassure you that they are taking care of your car.
I was very impressed with their service and the kindness of their staff, especially Aaron, who explained all the repairs in detail and the process of the repairs as well.
I would 100% recommend Auto Collision Center as your first choice when your car needs any repairs. You can be sure that your car is well taken care and given quality work.

There are very few times in life when you really experience great customer service, and the last place I expected it was at this place AAA referred me to when someone hit our parked car.
Right off the bat, Aaron was super nice and took the time to explain the process to me and assured me that my car was in good hands. He kept me updated on the progress of my car and was always very responsive.
I accidentally left the headlights on overnight so my rental car’s battery died, and Aaron went completely above and beyond and offered to come by and personally jump start my car so I wouldn’t have to wait hours for the hertz tow truck. this saved me time and probably saved me from incurring extra costs for the tow! He even checked in with me the next day to make sure the rental car wasn’t giving me any problems.
Not only that but the repairs on our car were excellent and our car was returned to us in what seemed like even better shape! They really took the time to do an excellent job and we felt completely taken care of and informed!
A few days ago our parked car got hit again, and I knew exactly who to take our car to! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place!

I had another great experience at Auto Collision Center! They are my go to body shop! My mechanic has commented on what a great job they do on my car. It is the only body shop I will take my car to. I have highly recommended it to friends. It is a family run business and they keep you informed of what is going on at all times and make the whole experience as pleasant as possible.

Wow! How often do you come in for an estimate for repairs on your car and leave with your car actually fixed? Had bumper damage from a minor «fender bender» and I thought I would need to replace the bumper. I left within 15 minutes with my bumper «popped» back into place and a lesson on how todays bumpers work and all about the covers. Thank you Aaron for excellent and honest service! Cancelling my claim now.

Had a car wash rip off the front panel of my 350 Z. Aaron Kesler helped me. He explained all my options & prices. He was quick & concise yet patient with my questions. They were amazing. We have been coming here for 20 years because of their amazing service. The Greenblat family provide the best work and customer service. Aaron was so easy to deal with. He knows so much about the business and insurance. He had my car repaired my faster then expected. My car looks new again. Highly recommend them.

I really appreciate the service and quality of work that I received at Auto Collision Center. My 2010 Hyundai is as good as new. This place is good because they know how to communicate with you, and all the people who work there work as a team. Aron educated me on what my car needed and how they would fix it. He went the extra mile in explaining EVERYTHING. For the first time, I didn’t feel talked down to or patronized by a car shop. I first went to the local competitor who is also a certified AAA repair shop and they didn’t even call me back after I brought my car there to get an estimate! Also, the competitor questioned why I would take my car to them when my address was over 2 hours away… I thought they were weird.
Anyways, back to Auto Collision Center — they give you access to a video camera of your car while it is being repaired. And, they coordinated nicely with helping me get a rental car. Thanks to everyone there who helped this go so easy for me.

Was helped by Aaron K. for my Dodge Challenger. Whole process was an easy straight forward transaction. My front/​back bumper had damage from both personal and additional parties. I came in by the recommendation of USAA. Long story short, I was satisfied with the quality of work. The bumpers look fully restored. On top of that, if they see any small chips they’ll add some little touch up paint (which they did for my car). Hopefully I’ll never have to come back here, but if I do I can rest assured knowing my car is in good hands.

I was referred by AAA after my 2015 Prius had the passenger side rear view mirror ripped off. The estimate process took only 15 minutes and Keith ordered the part right away. In 2 days the part arrived, at which point I returned my car for the service work. Keith actually gave me a ride to Bart after I dropped my car off. The very same day, after work I returned to pick up my fixed car. They even washed my car inside and out! Next time I need anything done to my car, I’ll be visiting Keith.

Referred by AAA insurance after being rear ended, I came in for a quick estimate. A week later my replacement bumper was ready for installing. Two hours after dropping the vehicle off, I was back on the road. In and out, just the way I like. Even cleaned the interior & exterior. Thanks to Aaron and the staff for a stress free body shop experience!

My Nissan Versa got rear-​ended by a motorcycle when I parked on the street (unattended). Due to uninsured motorist, my insurance company was able to pay for the repair. Auto Collision Center (ACC) was recommended by my insurance company and relatively close to where I live, so I just went with it.
My goal was to get the car repaired to the condition before the accident (no worse). After I got the green light from my insurance company, I immediately scheduled for my appointment with ACC. During initial inspection, I explained the damage, the extra noise and vibration from the bottom side of my car. Keith addressed the issue with my car and said will start the repair as soon as my parts has arrive. So I had to comeback in a week or so.
A week and a half has past and I didn’t receive their call, so I decided to call again and see my status. Then they said my part had arrived but due to their workload, my repair had to delay to the following week. No problem and I would come back as they promised.
Then I dropped off my car in the following week, and they completed the paint job and installation in about a week or so. I was delighted to pick my car up. The car was cleaned and all new parts installed. It looked good. Then I started the engine and ready to go home. At first, I still noticed the louder than usual noise but I thought I was being picky.
The next day when I drove on the freeway to work, the loud noise (grinding sound) became obvious (same condition after the accident and before the repair). So I called the next day and they said no problem, just bring in again. So I did.
They promptly responded and found that the cross members at the bottom were in contact slightly. Hence the grinding noise when the car started. So one more problem fixed, and I picked up my car on the same day evening. The engine was quiet at the start. Pretty good service, I thought.
However, when I drove my car on the freeway next day, the muffler (exhaust system) was making the same noise when I accelerate to high speed. I thought, they obviously didn’t fully test drive my car after the repair. I call them up again and explained the persisting issue. They said no problem and bring your car in. I repeat the same process. They promptly identify the issue and fixed the noise. Ok, that was the last time I needed to go back hopefully, I thought.
Indeed, the noise was gone, but the vibration on my passenger seat did not go away as I explained during the initial inspect. Then I failed to follow up because of the distraction of the noise issue in my previous returning visits. What now? I thought, do I live with the minor issues. The vibration appeared randomly even on an even road so I thought it’s generated within my car not because of external factors.
Anyway, long story short (it’s already too long), I did NOT go back the shop for the 4^th time to repair the random vibration and rattling noise on the passenger side. They said it’s unlikely the insurance company would pay for that additional repair since my car was rear ended. I’m 100% certain that issue appeared only after the accident. With the amount they charged the insurance company for the repair and parts, I expected my car to be fixed inside and out to no frustration level.
I give them 4 stars because the staff are friendly and helpful along the process. It could have been a 5 star rating if they have marked down my initial comments and fully checked them all out, one-​by-​one, without multiple visits. The fact that I had to return 3 times and yet still find lingering issues is quite frustrating.
For better service, I suggest to do the followings:
1. Make sure the staff in the shop make a check list on the issues you addressed during evaluation.
2. Call them for repair status because your repair might be delayed due to their workload.
3. Ask them to test drive your car after the repair (for internal damage).
4. It’s recommended to test drive your car for 10 to 15 min on a freeway if your car had interior problem (noise, vibration, and etc.)
