What a rip off…
A very few old, over priced rifles and couple of shot guns.
Zero new hand guns…

Ok, so this was my first gun show in Ca. I read the reviews on here the night before, and honestly second guessed on going. But since I had already bought 3 tickets online a week in advance, I decided to go anyway.
Me and my brother, along with his wife, we’re all in the market for a new rifle. All 3 of us wanted either an AK47 or an AR-​15z but California, being California, we didn’t expect much… Especially after reading the reviews.
But, what I’ve learned is this: the reviews on this gun show are a bunch of HORSE SH*T. THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST GUN SHOW TO ATTEND IN THE BAY AREA. Me and my brother both bought brand new 7.62×39 Century Arms AK-​47s for $ 700! His wife bought a brand new AR-​15 for $ 500. We were one the first in line, and the first in the door and we grabbed those rifles within 5 minutes of the show opening! Great show! I’m happy with my purchase!
My advice, GO EARLY. I got there about an hour and a half early and there was already a line of 20 people. Also, I recommend buying your tickets ONLINE before the show because the ticket line is even longer then you’ll have to wait in ANOTHER line to get in. So buy tickets online! Other than that, GREAT SHOW. I’m happy. Just seems like a lot of whiny complainers on this Unilocal app. Maybe they thought $ 199 for 1,000 rounds of 5.56 was «too much money» cheapos. Rant over. Long live the republic. USA

Wish I could give it a no star rating, waist of time and Money. Its just a flea market with over priced firearms. For example one booth had 1911’s for sale, wanted $ 3k and up. Gun broker has them for $ 1,500. Did not have any of the ammo I was looking for.

Even though im quite the newbie in the world of guns, id have to say i was very unimpressed. They had quite a number of displays, but not much variety. The gun that was looked for could not be found… pretty disappointing considering its not like it was some rare unique piece– but then again, thats california for you. Lol. This «gun show» was probably as tedious as my history class. .maybe a little more, actually. we left with some beef jerky, though. Hahahahaha. …

It is what it is boys and girls. We live in California so this is what we get. I go every once in awhile and its about what I expect.

If you are the in the need for a zombie shirt or jerky go… otherwise Dont bother. ca gun laws have run all the good dealers away

This show blows. Remember to print your dollar off coupon for everyone in your party. Then wait an hour in line to buy ammo only to find out that they will only sell you 50 rounds of .22. No great deals to be had especially since you start $ 23 in the hole after parking and admission. Much smaller than I expected. Don’t waste your time or money.

Got all the ammo I could carry so I was happy. I did get there an hour and a half before opening and I’m glad I did cause the line wrapped half way around the cow palace at opening. Crazy dash to the ammo line. I’m guessing the folks in the back of the ENORMOUS ammo line waited at least 3 – 4 hours. I waited 10 minutes. «made my day»

TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!
This was my first gun show and I was completely disappointed. I paid $ 8 to park, $ 12 to get in a very crowded small garage sale.
They crammed all the crap into a very small space, with no restrooms, and no chill spot.
The crowds were so bad, at one point people started shoving and hit my 10 yr son in the head with a gun case. The only quite place in this crammed event was at the KKK-​nazi table… WOW. The whole time reporters are outside talking about gun control.
Don’t worry gun haters, there were NO guns at this small basement swap-​meet. The ammo table had 50 to 100 people pushing, fussing, fighting in line to buy bulk garbage ammo.
If you want to buy rosted pecans, cheap LED accessories, or jewelry this is your place. It was nothing more them a mix of red-​neck garage sale and bridal shower gone bad.
The best and only table we enjoyed was the VERY expensive tachi sword table.
The only one who benefited from this event is the cow place and Crossroads of the West Gun Shows.
Save your money, support your local gun shops in the bay area. Go by and visit with them, you will get more then the Crossroads of the West Gun Shows.

Even though California cannot do much in the way of amazing gun shows, this one does not cut it. With the $ 9 admission, the show is notthing better than what you would find online or in a shop.
The selection is thin at best and with the crowds you will not be able to move around much. Also, when you shop online you’re not at the dirty Cow Palace that smells like jalapeño sardine farts.
Here are some factual highlights of the show:
Parking: they charge you $ 8 but throw you in a supplemental lot that is further than the street parking by the entrance. One star is for the people who actually tailgate for this.
Lines: The line at 9:30am was long. It takes about 20 – 30 minutes unless you want to join the NRA for $ 25.
Ammo: This is probably the best deal as the bulk ammo is about the price of internet ammo without the wait or the restrictions, since half the people buying the ammo either live in the restricted ghetto or in rural places where mail isn’t delivered.
Guns: The prices here were highway robbery. The selection was terrible unless you wanted AR uppers and accessories. Of the used pistols/​revolvers/​rifles, most were marked up higher than the price of a NEW gun.
Other Stuff: Half of the stuff here is basically flea market junk such as cheap LED flashlights, nylon holsters, and cheap China knives. Again, you are better off getting these items on Amazon. However, good things to grab are ammo cans and military memorabilia.
