Junipero Serra Elementary School

Let me begin with the principle, Mr.Miranda. Very disrespectful, unprofessional and inconsiderate of parent concerns. He pretends to be caring but in all honesty he doesn’t give a shit about your personal feelings and will lie to your face. Secondly, Mrs. Cole, the school secretary is a liar. She will look at you straight in the face and tell you Mr. Miranda is not there even though you just seen him directing traffic. This school has very poor communication among teachers and parent request. And when you question it, they all point the finger to each other to blame one another. Some of these teachers will fail to tell you that your child is falling behind and its not until you go above the the school level for that matter to be addressed. This is a very clicky school, certain people or cultures will always have favors done, requests fulfilled but if your not a part of that click, be ready to treated rudely and discriminated by the staff. The only reason I give this school a star is because I can’t post my expierence with out rating it, I personally give it a 0

Junipero Serra school is a small n family oriented school at a very popular location where most Filipino families attend. I loved the atmosphere in this school very nice secretary Ms. Cole and principal Mr. Schmella. They have very cozy environment n non threatening for k– 3 graders. However there is a very mean ist grade teacher Mrs Crabtree a non-​compassionate teacher for 1^st grade children. She is always on top of her voice n discouraging children passion for learning as well as for student trying their best to be at school on time would let my daughter n other children (i suppose, not only my child gets a late pass even if the door is just about to close. Because of this unsupportive teacher, it makes it very hard for me to get on time ESP when I have to drop off my other son in an opposite direction. also this teacher gives so much homeworks ad if our life is all about this teacher. I have heard many complains from my daughter n I felt that maybe we just need to double our efforts but I have heard along the way that this teacher in he first grade is very old fashion in her teaching methods, strict and mean from what other parents who had complained about her from the past. I wish I cud have pursued to change my daughters class teacher in the middle of school year but because I thought we ate getting a good relp with teacher ESP when I volunteer every now n then to help in her classroom. And yet this was not enough for this this teacher to be compassionate towards children struggling to arrived on time. If u happen to get Mrs. Crabtree, ur really going to crawl slow n will always pull u down even effort has been exerted I cant believe as early as this young school age they put a teacher that will discourage children from learning. I strongly suggest that this teacher resigns before she ruins many lives of blossoming smart children!!! Because of her reporting my child tardiness even if that door is just closing. She is very mean to send my daughter to get a late pass making my daughter more late ad it is because the office is about 10 minutes back n fourth walking n editing time to get papers will make it a total of 15 minutes late. This kind of teacher has no place to be an educator if has no compassion to bring success to child’s effort of going to school. She is setting children to be discouraged n set to failure in their early lives … Way so unfair n now my child is not allowed to return in this school because of this teacher inaccurate attendance n tardiness report.
