Mc Mechanical

MC Mechanical installed a gas furnace in my house nearly 5 years ago. Recently PG&E did an inspection of gas appliances in my house and found that the gas furnace was leaking gas, so they shut it off. The gas furnace is still under warranty so I tried to contact MC Mechanical several times but no response. I eventually got a hold of someone at MC Mechanical and they said they would call me the next day which they never did. I eventually had to get another company to come out to my house to repair the furnace. Word to the wise, avoid MC Mechanical, they do not stand by their products.

MC Mechanical is a trusting and honest company with excellent service. After having a few quotes from 2 multiple companies that required furnace replacement, MC mechanical was able to repair my furnace at a great price. The employees were friendly and respectful. I was quite impressed with everything about this company. Their hard work, excellent service, always answering their phones– even on weekends, professional vehicles, very clean and presentable uniforms. They have now been my «go to guys,» for the past year and everyone I refer them to have been extremely satisfied with their honestly and hard work.

Avoid…, I had problem with my office ventilation system, I called my long time contractor/​Lucas, he referred Mario/​MC Mechanical, I thought I’m in a good hand with referral, but it ends up with totally disappointment, Mario first told me that PC board is fried, I agreed to replace, he gave me first bill and left, after long waiting, he finally came back with PCB, after a while, he told me that it wasn’t PC board problem, it was something else, anyway, I’m still o. k with that, paid very expensive 2^nd bill (way too expensive compare to any other contractors who charges hourly), few days ago, I turned on air conditioning and noticed there’s problem with thermostat, I contacted him and asked if he can stop by and take a look at it, he said that it’s too far to come to my office, he needs to charge $ 180 for the visit, I told him that what if the problem was caused by him or the problem was never fixed, he denied and told me to find someone else to fix, didn’t we all get some kind of warranty after service, especially within such short period time and refer customer, i wish Unilocal allow to give zero star which what he deserved,

Same-​day service! I’m so glad I called these guys! Its freezing out, and our HVAC wasnt working. Every place I called said that I’d have to wait another week for an appointment. I googled «same-​day HVAC service, San Francisco» and MC Mechanical popped up. Sure enough, true to their word, Mario came at 7:30 this evening and quickly fixed the problem!
Mario is really friendly and genuine, and just a total sweetheart. He’ll be our guy from now on, for sure!

Mario and his team have made me a customer for life. The furnace went out in our just-​renovated rental property in Oakland on a Friday night in February and our brand-​new tenants were not pleased.
On Saturday morning our contractor came over and diagnosed the problem but all the supply stores were closed for the weekend, so we couldn’t get the part we needed.
I called and emailed about 10 East Bay heating contractors that afternoon and evening and only one got back to me, to tell me he was too busy.
Realizing I needed to expand my search beyond the East Bay, the next morning I left a message for MC Mechanical and Mario’s wife got back to me immediately. I sent her model and serial number of the furnace plus a picture of the part we were searching for, and she said they’d get on it.
Mario then spent Sunday morning calling around to his colleagues and convinced one to open up his shop to see if he had the part. The guy did, and by lunch on Sunday Mario had met me at the house, tested the furnace to make sure our contractor had the right diagnosis (he did), and installed the new part.
He explained clearly what he was doing the whole time with the repair, changed the filter while he was at it, and gave me some great maintenance tips for the long-​term. The job was done in 30 minutes and my weekend, along with my relationship with my new tenants, was saved. Great work!

After a 1 hour review with Mario, he and I had a couple of discussions before I settled on a new variable speed furnace to replace the 30 year old one with a broken heat plate. His crew did a great job and I reconnected my computer back to the furnace after they left with no issues. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Mario /​MC Mechanical did a great job replacing my old gas water heater (19 years old) and gas furnace (40+ years old) with good quality new equipment, as well as installing new ductwork! Mario is very honest and a pleasure to work with!

This business just got started in 2009 but the owner, Mario, has had several years of experience before that in installation and repairs of A/​C and furnaces. He did a fabulous job on replacing my old furnace as well as fixed and reconnected our duct work underneath our house and re-​routed the dryer exhaust vent to a safer location (the previous owners had the dryer exhaust going into a panty hose under the deck!). Mario is very friendly and knowledgeable. You won’t go wrong if you hire MC Mechanical.
