O’Reilly Auto Parts

Stellar customer service. Andrew assisted me & my friend today. We came in with a long list of items we needed. He was very patient with us. I will definitely come to this location next time I need auto parts. Thank you for all your help!

So I went here and got my product. Great product like all the other stores. And I went to wait in line, and was waiting literally for 45 minutes., with only 3 people in head of me. Eventually, someone came and opened another cash register, but he was walking around earlier and putting things away. It was so ridiculous I started to sit on the floor. The other cashiers had someone in their line but were helping them, but for 45 minutes, and leaving your customers waiting that long? To me it sounds like a lack of customer service to the customer waiting in line

I went in to buy a battery for my car as I had just had towed my car there to replace the dead one. I asked if they also install batteries and the store clerk confirmed that they do. It wasn’t until I had purchased the battery that I was told the only employee who can install batteries that day was currently out to lunch. As I stood at the counter pondering my options, the clerk who was supposedly «out to lunch» walks in, hears me and the other clerk talking about the installation of a battery and says that he is just now clocking out and won’t be back for an hour. I know we all need lunch, but couldn’t he have helped a customer for 10 – 15 minutes rather than have them wait an hour for you to get back from lunch especially if you are the only one who can do the task?
Luckily the guy who towed my car (A Nelson’s Towing) stuck around to make sure I wouldn’t need another tow and installed the battery for me.

This location seems pretty busy compared to others. I usually go to the one in Millbrae. But when I needed a quick tail light I Dropped in. The staff was confused and one customer was already pissed off because they couldn’t find his order. I felt rushed out of there. I wanted to ask the guy to check
my tail lights but after experiencing the vibe I just took them and left. I wouldn’t rely on this location for customer service.

This place is great! I needed a bulb for my turn signal. They helped me quickly and even put it in for me. There are a lot of auto parts places in this neighborhood, but I’ll only shop here now.

They have three people on the phone and one person on checkout, and I’m waiting there for 10 minutes just to buy one item. Then, they take a customer ahead of me and start showing them waxing products… what the serious ****. I don’t know what the hell is wrong with this store, I usually go here, but not anymore. I immediately left after that bullshit, because I wasn’t going to wait any longer. I went up the street to napa and found the same item for cheaper, and got out in less time than it would’ve taken those fools at oreilly to finish their tour of wax products.

I had problems with starting my car sometimes, and i went to the store. Omar helped me to test and charge the battery and then found that there was nothing wrong with it. Then i found that my engine oil was very low so i got a oil change at somewhere else. He’s so nice and did not charge for the test. Now the car runs pretty good.

I have been loyal O’Reilly Auto Parts customer for year, and due to an aging Ford Escort, more money has gone into parts recently than I’d like. The car broke a timing belt and was towed to a shop near this store. In the process of repair (I’ve worked on cars a LOT) I know that there was a small cam alignment tool required to complete the job that is specific to Ford Zetech engines. I found the tool at O’Reilly and it was ordered for me. They even said they would deliver it (it’s on their normal delivery run and the shop is only four blocks away.) All good until now. But they wouldn’t take a credit card over the phone. I spoke with the manager and she would not give in an inch. It’s not that I was impolite or disrespectful — I’ve worked in customer care for over 30 years. «The store policy is that we don’t’ take credit cards over the phone». Even though their online system does, it’s being delivered to a local shop that will pay for it and put it on my total bill, *and it’s a shop that has had an account with them for many years.*
Nope. Rules are rules. «Parts don’t leave the store until they are paid for.»
OK.
So I had to hire a cab and spend almost $ 40 in fare to go to the store and back just to have my credit card run through their machine.
Simply to get a $ 20 part to complete a job.
Businesses must make decisions that protect them, but those decisions have consequences. The consequence this time is that they lost a good customer for life.

Extremely well-​run. Highly recommended. Each visit, I’ve been greeted with a smile, and friendly customer-​oriented sales people. Keep up the good work!

Came here to pick up a power steering belt for a custom project notice the belts did not match with part number i would have been the perfect fit for the belt came back and was told they did not carry the size in stock… other than that customer service was alright… please check your inventory stock parts with the numbers to make sure they are correct…

It’s now O’Reilly if you’re looking for them. It was raining today, making me think I need new wiper blades, pronto! So I park and walk into the store. After a minute, I’m greeted and asked if I need help. Yes, I need new wiper blades for my car, a 1990 Honda Civic hatchback. He looked up the specifications, and took me over to the wiper blades, pointing out two brands, noting the more expensive one was a new design. After making my choice and purchasing them, the salesman surprised me by offering to install them right now!
So out we went into the rain. He installed them, took the packaging and said try them. They worked like a charm! Really great service!

One day, I was having trouble starting my car so, being a girl, I just assumed I needed a new battery. I stopped into the O’Reilly auto parts shop (formerly known as Kragen) to pick one up. All I needed was the make and model of my car and the salesperson at the counter was happy to grab the perfect battery for me. He assisted me to my car with it and even let me bring barrow the metal carrier thingy he used to handle it.
After the battery was replaced, my car still had trouble starting. It was then that I recalled that my battery was replaced not very long before. It had to be the starter. Oops, my bad. I drive back to O’Reilly and was assisted by a woman this time. She turned out to be a manager. I explained my circumstances and asked if there was any possibility of a refund. I would have completely understood if she gave me a big fat no; after all, the battery was now used and still attached to my engine.
Surprisingly however, I got a hesitant yes instead. It was not a normal policy to return car batteries after they’d been installed and used, but she understood my situation and genuinely wanted me not to be screwed over. She even called (I think her husband) to ask him for some auto advice for me. As I that weren’t enough, she went out to my car, practically laid on the sidewalk beside it to try and hear the sound it would make as I tried to start it.
She agreed that it was likely due to a problem with the starter, and accepted a full refund on the battery. The whole transaction truly exemplified great customer service. Thanks Kragen (O’Reilly)!

This is an O’Reilly’s now. My sister and I went here because she had just picked me up from the BART station and didn’t want to go out because our mom’s windshield wipers were really bad. I tried to use the machine to figure out what size wipers I needed, but I couldn’t figure out how to use it. The sales associate asked us if he could help and he did! My sister didn’t know what year the car was, so he found the registration card, found us the right wipers AND he even put them on, in the rain, without letting us use an umbrella. Did I mention that it was like 30 minutes until closing? Really cool dude, really good service. We will definitely badger our mother to buy all her car needs at this location. Thanks!

Clean and well-​lit. Theyve got a good selection of stuff. Even had Aquapel although more expensive then some other places. Worth a visit.
