This place has decent food but unfortunately they are not an honest business. For the last 3 years they have been taking orders away from another business in San Francisco. This time I asked to speak to Josie and was told she was in the back. So I left with the order and got home only to receive a call that my order was still waiting to be picked up. Come to find out they have done this to the other business several times. They say they lost the order and prepare an order for you and take the money away from the original place that took the order. I don’t like to deal with dishonest people. Remember Karma will come back around and bite you in the butt!

Don’t order at this place. We ordered Turon(sweet banana) for a fiesta a day before the event. They had taken my order promising pickup time etc. Fiesta day came and they didn’t do my order. It was a very time sensitive due to the fiesta and obviously I couldn’t wait. So I said fuck yourselves and left. DONOTORDERFROMTHISPLACE. ITHAPPENEDTWICETOMEALREADY. I’m not a expert in Filipino food, but I stopped by here to give it a shot. I was greeted friendly by a worker named Christian. He took the time to explain to me what each food was and what was in it. The problem is that the store doesn’t have any tags or price tags on the wall. It is a fast food joint without any labels. I took his advice and got the two item, one was the tomato fatty pork and the other was one that look like chicken curry. It tasted pretty good in my opinion and portions were reasonable. Two item and rice is close to 8 $

Typical Filipino food. Nothing fancy. Food tastes freshly made. Only problem was the person over the counter, VERYRUDE! I never expect a smile or anything wherever I go, I just like getting my food and go. This person’s attitude was so «Stuffy» as though she didn’t want to serve me. I don’t want to stoop so low as to upload the video I taped of her slamming my order and my change! Luckily there’s other Filipino places nearby that I can feel comfortable eating & feeling welcomed.

Left feeling grossed out by the dine-in experience. Although the food tasted okay, we could not get over the bad sanitation practices. Also the fact that the prices aren’t listed anywhere was annoying.

Lady server is talking on her phone while serving customers. I see one hand of the server holding the telephone, talking in front of food trays while on another hand putting food in containers . The food prices are not posted and everyday it changes, the next day it can be a different price. My advice is to ask for the price before ordering and make sure to always check your receipt.

Named after a province in the Philippines known for good cooking, this place was a disappointment. I had the Filipino sausage and egg breakfast. At $ 4.50, not too bad, but the garlic fried rice did not taste fresh, the sausages too fatty and oily. It’s in a not-so-good part of town. Nothing cozy inside. Perhaps a place to go if you are desperate for Filipino food, but I’ll pass next time and look around for other options.

The inside of this place is dirty and The Punset is horrible! Everytime I order it, the inside of the container is all moisty, then the moist drops on the punset, and it tastes DISGUSTING. Their Lumpias are normal and i cant say much about the other foods cause i havent tasted any yet.

I have eaten at this place few times. While their food is OK and price is affordable, the atmosphere however is horrible. The whole dining area is dirty. Tables and chairs are unsanitary. One time I ate there and the TV remote control was laying on one the tables. Most of the time, the owner’s friends or family members who hang around are very noisy and smoke inside the place. Worst of all, I used their restroom and was horrified to see how dirty, smelly and unsanitary it was! I can imagine their cooks using, going in and out of that dirty restroom! I am even tempted to call the Department of Health and make a report on this place. I am not going to eat at this place again and I am not going to recommend this to my friends and family at all!

This place us HORRIBLE! Do not go here unless u want to eat food that has already gone bad. My mom ordered the Munggo/Balatong to-go because its one of my favorites, so when she got home she served me some over rice and noticed it tasted really funny. When I grabbed the container to check it out, it smelled sour and it was bubbling! UGH! Why?!? Their dinuguan is really greasy too, and the rest of their food is really cold. I really like Fil-Am and Ongpin for that not-so-expensive-but-super-delicious-authentic Filipino cuisine :) Tastebuds, Max’s and Intramuros are really yummy«upscale» Filipino restaurants… Just FYI… Trust me on Pampangas, tho. Don’t go there!

This place has really good lumpias. My friends and I only ordered this, so I can’t vouch for the other foods. We concluded that this place is like a fast food joint. For $ 7, we got a LOT of lumpias so we were pretty satisfied. They were hot and crispy and made more on the spot. We ordered to go, and by the time we got back to my friend’s house it was still hot. Their turons are good too(One of my friend’s cousin just happened to walk in, so she gave us some).

YOU… LIARS! I’m going to have to say that this place was NOT the best of Kapampangan places, in my opinion. Having«Best Cuisine» in their name is definitely twisting the truth a little bit. Everything we ordered here could be summarized with 4 words: soggy, greasy, cold, mediocre. The one item that was decent was the Pork BBQ on a stick. Although the chicken one was pure fat with the consistency of jello, the pork was cooked well and not burnt. Kapampangan food is usually really good, so this place seriously disappoints. I guess I’ll be sticking to Max’s, Valerio’s, Intramuros, Henry’s and Ongpin for my peninsula Filipino food needs…

I usually get the bangsilog here(that’s a piece of fried fish, garlic friend rice and egg cooked how you like)…I asked for chopped tomato and onion on the side and they did it for me, no extra charge. Their barbque sticks and turon($ 1 only) are good too. Food has always been served warm and you can always ask to have it warmed if it’s not hot enough. Convenient location if you’re in the Excelsior.

Darn it! I’ve been here a couple of times, mostly due to proximity. At first, I was pretty stoked — since they had some kapampangan food that i thought I would only be able to eat overseas, like pusit, sisig, and such. I ate there about 3 good times, by myself and was pretty satisfied. I kept raving to my sister and mom about how cool this place was, how it tastes just like pampanga, and how I need to take them here when they come next time to visit me. So, they did… and Boy! What a disappointment — they didn’t have ANY of the food I was raving about, and not only were we overcharged — the food was cold, they lady was impolite, and I had the runs all day. I was embarrassed and disappointed that my reputation with good places to eat is now skewed due to my misjudgment with this joint. Whatever you do. Don’t order the tofu.

my friend and i ate there, we ordered the 2 item combination at 6.50 each, so for the both of us, the price should have been 13 dollars plus tax, but the final bill ended up being 18.50, i wonder how that happened?

Chicken & pork adobo was devoid of any chicken, or much meat on the pork pieces for that matter. The few pork pieces I did get had lots of fat. But not the good, melt in your mouth kind of fat. It was the rubbery, get this out of my mouth variety. BBQ stick was overcooked, but the sauce was sweet and tasty. I’ve had the displeasure of having silogs here as well, which came out ice cold.

Your typical cafeteria style(point and get) Filipino restaurant. Nothing too extraordinary, and limited seating.
