hi patricia,
based on your previous superb house cleaning for me, i had expected
a good one on our kitchen. but what surprised me was that everything
was not just clean but the they were very shiny — the faucet, kitchen sink,
microwave, refrigerator, tv set and linoleum floor. and i marvel at how
you took the dirt out of all the cupboard doors, making it look like they
were just refaced.
thanks a lot, patricia. talk about detailing, i don’t see a spot, just all glow.
you just made our kitchen alive and look like brand new!

Don’t bother looking anywhere else. Patricia left our home glimmering — even cleaning the fridge, windows and the dog bed! I have had housecleaners before, but none have been as thorough, eager, and, well … perfect. I happened to be struggling with some sticky tape residue on my printer, and Patricia even showed me a trick to get it off and gave me some rubber gloves to use. She was on-​time, worked for four hours with a helper, and now it looks like I live in a fancy hotel. We are going to keep her on a regular schedule; we have three pets and sometimes the hair just gets away from us. We can’t find a strand of hair anywhere — that’s a first!

I needed help ASAP so I started dialing cleaners with 5 star ratings. After getting a cancelation, one 1 hr through reservation, duh!, I called Pampered Homes. It has to be a same day service and I was happy that they accommodated me. You’d immediately assume you’ll get ripped off for a last minute request but the quote I got was reasonable.
I instantly felt at ease with Barry and Patricia when I met them. I told them what I needed done. The 2 bedroom in-​law I wanted clean was clean (to my interpretation) except for the really dirty bathroom. Patricia worked by herself for 3 hours.
When I came down to check on her, she was almost done and I was really impressed on how the place looked. She cleaned the floors, sidings and even windows. The splattered paint on the floor was gone as well even after they told me they might not completely take it off. And the bathroom? It was definitely sparkling. The musty moldy odor was gone. The slime between the tiles gone. The soap scam on the bathtub gone. The ugly black spots on the ceiling gone. And did I mention I tried cleaning it and thought I did a good job. Oh boy, it wasn’t even half as good as Patricia’s cleaning.
Barry can’t give me a receipt that night but he was prompt in providing me one in the mail.
Highly recommended! I’m thinking of getting my house thoroughly cleaned sometime soon and now I have a contact I know I can rely on.

My apartment has NEVER looked better or been cleaner! Patricia and her co-​worker were amazing, they left no surface untouched. The whole apartment sparkles. I’ve tried other house cleaning services, Pampered Homes leaves the other servies in the dust!!!

There is really no way to fully describe how FABULOUS my house looked after Patricia and her helper left! Everything was super clean, they even washed all the shelves of my refrigerator and the drawer that holds all the silverware. Patricia is charming, punctual, has great communication skills, very hard working, efficient, has very high standards, dedicated to her work and she goes WAY above and beyond to please her clients. I am a Mother and a Grandmother and I have known a LOT of cleaning people over the years but I can tell you, if Patricia can fit you into her busy schedule you will be SO HAPPY! She is the absolute BEST!!!
She really cares about the job she is doing and cares about your home, when she left I was amazed to see that EVERYTHING WAS PUT BACK IN THE RIGHT PLACE!!! This alone, is quite extraordinary.
The back story:
This was not a total surprise to me since I had met Barry and Patricia of Pampered Homes by Patricia, for the first time several years ago, when they came to my house to WASH my kitchen WALLS (the walls were horribly grimy from years of cooking residue and not having a vent above the stove. I was having company and did not have enough time to paint the walls). I liked the fact that Barry came along with Patricia to meet me and make sure the situation was safe for his wife. They are both wonderful people who I immediately felt a connection with. Patricia worked SO hard and my kitchen was BEAUTIFUL, it looked like it was freshly painted. Right then I knew that I wanted to have Patricia come to my home on a regular basis but I already had a person who I felt bad about letting go, even though her work was not up to par — she was in need of the income. After quite some time it all worked out, the other person «moved on» — I immediately contacted Barry and Patricia, HOPING that Patricia would be able to come to my house regularly. They agreed to come to my house and Patricia did an unbelievable deep cleaning. For the future we will work out a regular schedule — I am so happy knowing that I have a person who really knows how to clean and on top of that, Patricia is a warm and wonderful, lovely young woman. I have tried MANY house cleaners over the years and have finally found a keeper. «Pampered Homes by Patricia» is owned by husband and wife team Barry and Patricia Hodge. The Hodges initially come over and give you a quote for a Deep Cleaning. This is a starting point so that maintaining your house weekly on monthly becomes an easier and straight forward job. You may think the price is on the high side, but if you figure the woman power per hour it’s not. When you think your house should only takes 4 hours it can actually take 8. They are a registered business so they have all the expenses that goes along with it, insurance being one of them (and the security that goes along with it). I have had people clean «under the table» — it’s cheaper and the jobs have been marginal (you get what you pay for) — but the big scare is no insurance. If these people get injured when inside your home you are up the creek without a paddle.
After the initial clean you can decide on how often they come — bi-​weekly, monthly, etc. They will set a price for you for this service. My house has never looked so great! They serve the San Francisco and Daly City areas. They are also available to Move In/​Move Out Cleanings.
Patricia is a very charming and friendly woman who brings professionalism and a great work ethic. She sometimes brings help with her — but again it is a set price. If anything is not done to your satisfaction or if you want something done a certain way — no problem — Patricia will make sure you are satisfied. Patricia is always on time with a cheerful smile. I have come to know I can trust her in my home, which is very important to me.

Gosh, I am such the Unilocaler and I can’t believe that I overlooked writing a review for my wonderful house cleaner! My sister found Pampered Homes by Patricia last year when we were doing a remodel on my mom’s house. Her house was soaked with nicotine, had wallpaper throughout that needed to be removed, paneling that needed to be washed– all just to prepare for new paint, carpets, wallpaper, etc. My sister interviewed Barry & Patricia and they gave us a quote and started the super deep clean on my mom’s house– consisting basically of the walls throughout. She had a team of 3 including herself (4 if you count the baby in her belly) and they worked so hard. It was definitely probably the worst job they have ever had and my sister & I both agreed that we needed to pay more than what was quoted. We had no idea there were three layers of wallpaper! They did an excellent job.
About 6 weeks later once we were done with the interior of my mom’s house we had Patricia and one of her workers meet us at the house as we moved everything back into place with my mom there as well. They helped us with washing dishes, cleaning knick knacks, etc. to put in their rightful places. Dusting & Polishing furniture, etc. They also did a deep clean on all the windows inside & out. They were amazing. Patricia has since been visiting my mom’s house on a bi-​weekly basis to keep things up to par and my mom has been very pleased. Her house is actually very clean, but I think she enjoys the company and bi-​weekly visit from Patricia.
In August last year, my dear brother had told me that he was going to take up my offer to host his son’s 18^th birthday dinner– but he told me 3 days before the weekend and my house was in shambles, very neglected and I had no time to clean myself. I called Barry & Patricia in desperation to see if by chance they could squeeze me in for a cleaning before Saturday. I received a prompt call back and they were able to come that Friday and did the deep clean– even cleaned out the Fridge! They have been coming now every three weeks ever since. They are fabulous cleaners, great people and I feel so at ease having them in my house.
As another reviewer states– you do get what you pay for and you need to be careful when you let someone into your home. I have referred Patricia to many people and do not hesitate to refer her to anyone who wants a reputable house cleaner. They are just great people.
