Yogurt Circle

I’m a big fan of the peanut butter yogurt, everything else pretty much sucks. Nice fresh fruit and candy topping collection. Bizarre table in middle of store with cup-​o-​ramen and other odd stuff on it. I can only figure they cater heavily to the college demographic. Still — yogurt on ramen? Really?

ICE CREAM IS BOMB! The hispanic and asian dude hooks me up. I get a scoop which is = 3 scoops. NO JOKE!
WHY DID THEY CLOSE? :(

This place is in the Westlake Mall in Daly City, near some of the other food options, so this is a natural for dessert.
The place is pretty large as Froyo places go, in the shape of a circle building wise (oh, now I get it!). It is however, lacking in slick FroYo flavored ambiance. I guess this place was something else before, like maybe a Deli or something? The kitchen sink area in the large cubby hole behind the little girl at the cash register seems odd in design, and the Feng Shui doesn’t seem quite right.
The Froyo is PYOFY and meh. It has to be a bit of a struggle doing business here on those fog blasted Daly Sheety days, which is almost everyday! We luckily had some nice sun to enjoy our Froyo without freezing our arses off.

They have a decent selection of flavors and toppings. They also have long hours and are open late when most other options are closed. The cons are that the place is not very clean. The yogurt was watery. The toppings were out in some cases or they had been reduced to crumbs. Decent… But not great

Nice little yogurt shop with some seating. Their vanilla tastes terrible. Cheap prices. They don’t give taster cups.

I found a hidden spot for my Mitchell’s ice cream fix!
For about $ 2, you get a generous scoop of any of the dozen or so delicious flavors without having to wait in that horrid-​30 minute line. For a little over $ 3, you can get 2 scoops for double the fun.
I’d highly recommend stopping by for the Mitchell’s or even the $ 1 soft serve!
Oh yeah, and I guess they have yogurt here, too…

I stopped by for something sweet after dinner at Burgermeister and they had just started making crepes recently. None of the ice cream or froyo sounded great so we ended up with a crêpe. It was only a few bucks which isn’t bad. The employee who made it did a decent job and loaded it up with strawberries, nutella and whipped cream after folding it up. He made the crêpe on the heating element which kind of made it a bit brown and crispy.
It wasn’t the best crêpe ever but for the price, it wasn’t bad at all. They have a pretty diverse menu of options so I would definitely recommend to at least check it out if you want something sweet.

I don’t know if it’s cause I came in with a group of three other girls on a rainy Thursday night, but oh my goodness their «single» serving of Mitchell’s ice cream would be a double/​small triple ANYWHERE else in this overpriced city and for only $ 2.89 (tax included). Seriously. Our server was such a sweetheart though.
Despite being called Yogurt Circle, I only tried one (Irish Mint; too sweet for me) before I opted for a scoop of the Mitchell’s ice cream. Can’t say much, I mean it’s Mitchell’s ice cream so you can’t go wrong with that.
Lot of open space, however I only counted maybe 3 – 4 tables.

I like where this place is located at. It gives it a romantic sort of vibe! I came here with my boyfriend last night. Positive atmosphere and the guy working there smiled! (extrastarforthat) I always get the original tart which always taste the same so that was nothing different. I didn’t like that there wasn’t other sizes! There was only one standard size.
Lets get to the toppings! I put of bunch of random ones! I really enjoyed the popping boba one its red and it pops in your mouth I really enjoyed that ahah it was fun lol. Oh, and I got gummy bears and the worms they were a bit too hard :(! I didn’t see any fruit?
Overall, it’s an alright place. They definitely need more topping choices! and more flavors! and an option for caramel swirls or chocolate you know different things like that would make it better ! :) but its good!

Tiny hole in the wall gets 3 stars ONLY because of the awesome staff and the fact that they serve Mitchell’s Ice Cream! How awesome is that? It’s kind of scary knowing that it’s so close but I no longer have to drive 15 minutes and wait in line for 30 and for that, I thank them.
Store itself is bare but run down. Dirty floors, deep scratches on the walls, grimy tables. I shudder having to sit in here for more than 5 minutes. Nothing looks organized and toppings look sloppy and old. I can’t imagine what grade they would get.
Frozen yogurt is lacking in flavor. Yummi Yogurt has WAY more flavor to their yogurt, which is why I like them. Yogurt Circle’s yogurt tastes watered down. I got Irish Mint and I could barely taste the mint.
Mitchell’s Ice Cream is the only thing that is saving them, otherwise, I would pass by this place like I have been for the past year.
Cashiers give GENEROUS portions of Mitchell’s. They aren’t quite there in terms of being able to sell pints, probably because they want to save their stock and they might not know how to price it so a double scoop is the most you can get right now. It’s a generous double scoop though! Also, this is just a place to tide you over and have a scoop. Which is all you should be having anyway.

They don’t have the non-​fat, no sugar added flavor anymore, but I have no problem with this place. They have a decent amount of yogurt flavors and lots of toppings. They also sell ice cream, and the guy who normally rings up my order recognizes me and chats me up. It’s also cheaper than that Tuttimelon garbage. And, the location is good too, as you can get a bunch of shopping done here, so why complain? Sure, there could be more flavors, and the tax charged is kind of ridiculous, but it’s still cheaper than most places even after the tax (which isn’t charged pretty much anywhere).

Bad yogurt, worse toppings. This is one of those frozen yogurt places you WANT to be good… It’s in a great location right in the heart of Daly City in the Westlake shopping plaza.
Unfortunately, the yogurt is mediocre, the toppings are meh, and the service is non-​existant. Pass.

I had their Mitchell’s ice cream here, two scoops, white pistachio and mocha something flavor. They give HUGE portions and it only came out around $ 4 which was a good deal for pretty good ice cream!
So WHY AM I GIVING THIS PLACE ONLY TWO STARS???
ANSWER: Near the end of finishing my ice cream, my friend saw a small little GRAY MOUSE crawl out from behind these boulder-​like chairs they have place near their windows! It looked like it was really comfortable being out in the open with all the people and lights around so it must have been there for a while! I immediately lost my appetite! I can’t believe I was eating ice cream at a place with a rodent so comfortably rummaging around for food. I immediately left because I did not want to stay for additional critters to surface their hungry faces!
Definitely NOT COMING BACK! The ice cream wasn’t THAT good, not worth the unpleasant encounter!

Since Yogurt Circle opened up a long time ago, my friends and I have been coming here. The yogurt isn’t the best I’ve had, but they serve more then that. They have hot chocolate and tubs of premium ice cream available as well which is always nice. I understand it’s a froyo place but the variety is welcome.
Your experience will be very dependent on who serves you. Out of the three guys who have helped me, two are great and the last guy is kind of a jerk. The other two are friendly, helpful, and seriously hook you up when you order ice cream. Sadly, I only know one of their names (Mike) but he’s awesome and helpful.
This place is open late, nice to hang out at, and for the most part, has great service. Maybe the low reviews are from those who dealt with the lousy worker but I love this place.

The yogurt here is ok. I’m more excited that they sell Mitchell’s ice cream here! :D

About $ 4 for a giant cup of up to three different flavors of Mitchell’s ice cream?! SCORE! I came here with some coworkers after grabbing lunch nearby. We all shared a giant cup of ube, mango, and lychee ice cream. All flavors were really good (although, I think my favorite is still ube… by a narrow margin, though!). On a rainy Friday afternoon, this place was really empty, so there was plenty of seating for our group. They have little cups to sample the froyo. I tried the Blow your Mind Tart, Pumpkin Pie, and Peanut Butter flavors. All of them were really good. I couldn’t quite put my finger on what the Blow your Mind Tart reminded me of, but it was tasty. Pumpkin Pie tasted like pumpkin pie and Peanut Butter tasted like peanut butter!
If I’m ever craving Mitchell’s ice cream, I’d go here for sure!

Definitely will not be returning to Yogurt Circle. Overall, flavors here are a bit off and are more on the artificial side, the selection of toppings is lacking and service is not so good. The first time I came here, I added mango chunks to my fro-​yo and for whatever reason, the mangos tasted like fish which really, was just really weird. I don’t know if the mangos were chopped with a knife that was previously used to chop fish (I don’t know why fish would be chopped here) or if the mangos were just way over ripe that they developed a fish essence. Either way, something fishy was going on.
More recently, I gave Yogurt Circle another chance and noticed how messy and unkept the toppings section was. The only worker, the cashier, was too occupied with reading a book, so the toppings area was left all messy and I received no customer service whatsoever when I weighed and paid for my fro-​yo.

I don’t expect too much from a place called «Yogurt Circle» but I do enjoy what they have to offer and feel it is better and cheaper than some other local places…
I like their vanilla and strawberry banana — not huge on much else… I don’t overload on anything at the «bar» aside nuts; as most of it is junk anyhow and the fresh fruit is small in selection so it’s kinda pointless for me. It’s decent fro-​yo, not great!

This is my 2^nd time here and it still makes me =[. Came here for the $ 1 soft served ice clams because i got too hungry waiting for wingstop’s chicken wings. So saddddd:
Plus side, service was very very nice, he filled the cone to the top! and the total was 91cents for the cone, plus tax, making it an even $ 1. Whereas at MACdonalds, its $ 1 plus tax, and then you have no choice but to give them $ 2 leaving you with a pocket full of change.
Anyway, idk what flavor it was, but i was expecting creamy vanilla, it turned out to be this kinda icey thingy that was orange. Tasted funny, so i shared with the dog, he seemed to love it, and finished my cone off. I guess it was worth it to see him enjoy it. at least someone did.

My bf and I came here twice in 3 days. I think that says a lot. And we got 5 stamps on our frequent eater’s card in those 3 days. don’t ask.
They have taro froyo and it’s fatfree. Bonus! It’s sooo creamy and smooth I sometimes wonder if they’re lying about the fat content. I really hope they’re not copying an episode of Seinfeld! They also have peanut butter froyo but it’s not fat free. Booo! But yuuuum!
