AT&T

The way they sell you is a technique I refer to as the «confusion close». Be careful because you might walk out in a confused state, thinking you got a free tablet and iPhone. In reality the next morning you’ll wake up in a similar state to those who’ve spent time with Bill Cosby.
They told me I could buy one iPhone and get one free. They would just ad a little to my bill. When I did the math not only was I not buying 1 phone and getting one free… I was paying for 3 iPhones but only getting 2.
There would be much less confusion if they put a big sign in front of the store that read «PAY FOR 3 iPhones, get 2!»

So bummed, signed up for Uverse with these guys because they promised me $ 300 in gift cards. Jumped through a million hoops to get it and only ended up getting $ 150. In addition, Uverse internet is so weak, they didn’t tell us the internet wouldn’t be good unless we have a phone line for it… I want to go back to Cox so bad!!!

The Laguna Niguel location used to be pretty good and had no problem giving credit where credit is due. Today I ran into Lisette C who was allegedly a store manager. Frankly, I am surprised she could manage her way out of a wet paper bag. Lisette has an absolutely horrible attitude and had no sense of professionalism. A few days ago I was looking for an HTC smart phone. I had one that I dropped and the phone would no longer hold a charge. Until then the phone was a champ for me. I was told they did not have that phone in stock and sold me a Motorola phone they told me was actually better. This Motorola phone dropped more calls like it was 1985. Not only that, the HTC could pick up a signal on the moon, this Motorola phone could not pick up a signal if I was standing next to a cell tower.
So, I brought the HTC phone I wanted online and brought the Motorola phone into the Laguna Niguel store for a refund. I walk in the store and 3 AT&T people were assisting customers, and as I browsing the store a bit I noticed 5 others in a back room not doing anything. There was only 1 customer ahead of me yet it took 15-​minutes for anyone just to say hello or put my name in this «list». 30-​more minutes and finally Lisette C. made her way over to help me. Switching the SIM card and SD card was no problem.
When it came time to refund my money from the shitty phone they sold me, this is where Lisette C. became a problem. Lisette tells me that there would be a $ 35 restocking fee for returned merchandise. No joke. I reminded Lisette C. that the phone they sold me dropped calls left and right… look at the call history where I had to dial and redial a number several times to complete a call. Lisette C., could have cared less. She tells me that she could replace the phone for free with the exact same phone or charge me a restocking fee of $ 35.
Really Lisette C. You sold me a phone that doesn’t make phone calls and you want to exchange it for the same exact phone that still won’t make phone calls? Not to mention, I just spent a couple hundred dollars on the HTC phone I originally wanted and you just provisioned.
Lisette C. should definitely not be a manager in a retail establishment that deals with a healthy volume of people. Lisette C. knew she is not very good at this job because she did not even bother to send me the survey that is custom after every store visit.

Been going for years. no issues… and they do take appointments (avoids most waits)…ask for Shane… expert and professional… handled all my and my wife’s needs. .Thank You Shane!

Worst experience ever. These people are crooks. They promised certain promotions to earn my business. They have total screwed my family over. They don’t speak English and are incredibly rude to everyone in the store by multiple employee. There was no manager on site. Place is a complete joke. Oh btw. I was there for over and hour… Stay with Verizon. Don’t get stuck in this miserable companies dead lifeless hands. Terrible…

Woefully understaffed. Absolutely ridiculous to have to sit and wait and wait and wait. It’s been almost an hour. Take my advice– go elsewhere.

Slow service. I get its a corporate store but Atleast handle your customers in order. Also, no means no. No I don’t want a tablet. No I don’t want an iPad. No. No. No. When I signed for my phone, no writing appeared. I asked the representative what I was signing for «oh just the installments» now, my phone is having issues, it is glitching up and defective and they are telling me I have to pay a $ 35 restocking fee. HA! That was not mentioned before? Very poor customer service. Tell your customers AHEAD of time there will be a restocking fee and have them sign for it. My phone is defective so I shouldn’t even have to pay a restocking fee, you guys should pay me for wasting my time driving there for a working phone. This place honestly sucks. I told the rep I was not aware of a restocking fee he responded with «too bad it’s been there for years you’re paying it regardless «WOW! You are speaking to a CUSTOMER like that? It’s been three years since I have upgraded my phone, sorry I did not know about a restocking fee, it is YOUR job (you’re getting paid hourly and commission for it buddy) to make sure the customer knows before they walk out of the door.
I 100% don’t recommend it. Switching to Verizon as soon as my installments are done they have better coverage and deals and customer service anyway.

Erick is amazing! He knows what he is doing, is quick and a great problem solver. He would make a great trainer…

I had a great experience at the AT&T store today.
Time was taken, care was given, I walked away not feeling rushed or uneducated regarding my purchase of the iPhone 6. Mike was very thorough with his explanation and took time to see that I really was comfortable and could easily make the transition from iPhone 5. Thank you AT&T for doing a great job!

I am forced to give this place one star to even leave a review. I give this branch no star if could for its lousy customer service! I had one of the worst experience at this branch just after I walked in 15 – 20 mins before closing and the sales rep couldn’t even wait to kick us out of the store. I believe her name was Amata. so before even assisting us she tells us that she’s gonna lock the door, pretty much implying an «It’s closing time & I really don’t want to help you guys» attitude towards my mom & I. Second as she rushed us with our questions she was just nastily chewing your gum in the sales floor. Like where is your boss? I TRULY DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING TO THIS AT&T STORE. It’s filled with very bitchy and unprofessional sales reps.

I love this store! From the moment I walked in I felt taken care of. This time Amata helped me. I needed to upgrade my crappy iPhone 4S. I never felt pressured into buying anything. In fact I felt Amata did a great job informing me on what would be best and what would save me money. The process was enjoyable. Thank you Amata!

1^st) they don’t listen very well.
2^nd) The rep seems to have a hard time understanding a customer or giving them anything resembling «service,» she instead argues and brings the manager over to repeat what she said. I DONT WANT TO CHANGE MY CURRENT PLAN.
3) I was told I should «probably go to Best Buy» instead of being offered to order the phone I want that they don’t have.
Ok. I’ll go to Best Buy. And I will never do business with AT&T again.
Lame. What a waste of our time.

Walked in… no one greeted… no sign in sheet. After I walk around looking for a sign I sheet and sit down talking with another customer about no sign in sheet someone standing at kiosk next to me who I thought was a customer as well says someone will be around to sign you in… not welcome sorry for your wait… just that statement. About 10 min later someone came by didn’t introduce himself just said I’m not a rep and can’t sign into your acct but I can answer questions…
And then let me know that although they sell the products they do absolutely nothing to help resolve any issues you might have. Wow… and I’ve been with you guys for 10 yrs or so… his answer… call Samsung. I think I will… and Verizon and t mobile… see if they have any answers for me… also the customer I was chatting with made and appt… and was waiting with her rep stopping to go take care of other customers… she wasn’t happy either…

Went in very excited to spend $ 370 and renew a two year contract getting the galaxy note 4. All I wanted to do was play with the stylus (the main selling point of the phone) before I spent all that money. I asked Sandra if she could get us a stylus since they didn’t have one in the phone. She laughed while walking away saying someone probably stole it. Okay? So I’m going to spend $ 400 dollars on a phone and you can’t help me out and get a stylus from another box or something. I asked her again and she told me to go to another store. While laughing… and walking away. I left without buying anything and pretty discouraged from going back. Terrible customer service.

With customer/​sales reps like Lindsey I’d recommend AT&T an 8 out of 10 over other services. Her customer service skills we’re amazing, multi-​tasking customers while sill being personable and polite.
I will definitely recommend the Dana Point AT&T location due to Lindsey’s help at getting me the best plan for me AND saving me money overall!

If the techs cannot figure out the problem, they call the manager, and she is the least help one can imagine. She actually argues with the customers. Customer service is not one of the strong points. Prices are generally high, you would do better buying on the internet.

This store bait and switched us. We went in for upgrade and two year contract phone for $ 299 but they charged 750.
Do not go to this store. Spread the word.

Of course AT&T sucks. They sucked before they opened a bunch of AT&T stores. They sucked before they fired all their handset techs who used to troubleshoot and repair handsets in the stores and they definitely eyeball-​popping-​sucked after that where everyone now has to go to a «hardware support center» which seems to be modeled after the DMV (they have like 5 in a 100 mile radius) where you usually have to wait hours to get serviced. They suck with Uverse, their customer service sucks, their website sucks, and overall being a customer of them just sucks hot and hairy super monkey balls.
But this store is awesome. It’s actually the first sincerely friendly AT&T store I’ve ever been to. Samantha was awesome and I’m guessing will be to anyone who’s lucky to get assistance at this store. The manager Matthew is attentive and chill. They keep things lighthearted in terms of vibe but really make the customer feel… ummm…not abandoned. They actually tried everything to help me instead of dismissing me (that’s right Culver City Overland store, I’m looking at you). And even though I had to take it to the hardware support center (getting rid of handset support in all stores is another reason AT&T is about as loved as getting punched in the face), I was impressed enough to do a write up on these folks.
