Had a lot of hands work from Machine Shop family business then moved to the Semiconductor Tool and Die design and eventually retired from Semiconductor Process and Design Engineering after 23 years.

My wife and I just had our tandem bike converted to electric for ease of riding in San Clemente. Robbie explained how he could do the procedure and told us that it might be challenging but he was up for it. His price was much less than Pedego. His customer service was excellent. When we picked the bike up he went out of his way to explain how to use the system. He also had his helper Dean help us get it into our car. If you are looking for a bike or converting yours to electric EZ green bikes is the way to go.

I brought my ebike to Robbie after he was recommended to me by several friends. He took the time to test every part in order to figure out what was wrong with it — a bad throttle. When I picked up it he’d fixed the throttle AND updated my gnarly wiring. I couldn’t be happier with his work and service.

Robbie is awesome! My husband and I were searching for a solution for my dad who recently had a stroke and isn’t driving anymore. Electric bikes are awesome! We stopped by to buy an air tube for our personal bikes, and Robbie showed us just how fun electric bikes can be. He was super nice, helpful and knowledgeable about all things related to bicycles. As a Dana Point tourist, and bike enthusiast I would highly recommend renting one of these electric bikes to get around town, definitely is one of the top must do things to do in Dana Point.

Robbie provides the best service, and with a smile! He was able to convert our regular tandem bike into a motorized tandem bike exactly to the specifications that we requested. Even though it meant hours of research on his part and special ordering parts, he never gave up or said he could not do it. He had to read complex instruction manuals to give us what we wanted. He delivered our bike exactly as we requested, and faster than we expected. We highly recommend that you visit Robbie. He provides outstanding service!!! We love our tandem motorized bike, and use it often!

My wife became disabled on a beach camping trip, and we were looking for a bike to rent to help her get around. Robbie listened to us, then offered his own scooter at a very attractive price. He included brand new batteries, and a charger, and checked the scooter carefully before he sold it to us. It worked flawlessly for the remainder of our trip, and has become a favorite of the grandkids since we got home. I recommend Robbie and his store to anyone thinking about an electric bike or scooter.

I have nothing but the highest praises for Robbie and his bike shop. I purchased my ebike from another source and had nothing but problems with it. I took it to Robbie because he is hands on and really understands the nuances of these bikes. He was patient and spend a great deal of time helping me figure out the problem. In the end, he was able to identify the problem and fix it for me at a very reasonable price.
If you are looking to buy, rent or service you ebike, I can think of no better place than this. I have been to the other local stores, but this one really stands out! All small businesses should be run like this.

Do not bother going anywhere else. I see other reviews on another store in the area but they were much more expensive than Robbie. We researched every bike and every shop from Laguna to San Clemente. Robbie is by far the most affordable and had the best customer service. He urged us to rent before buying to make sure it’s what we wanted. He customized the bikes to our liking at no charge, and deducted the cost of the rentals from the price. He also gave us a good price break for buying two. But more than just being the lowest price in town, he was not a pushy, snobby salesman. He is very down to earth and sincere. You can tell he loves what he does. He truly wanted us to walk out of there happy. I would recommend him over everyone else around.

I purchased 2 electric bikes from Robbie about 6 months ago. Mine is a Verve model and my wife’s is a Sun City 3 wheeler. Robbie is a true gentleman, very knowledgeable. He is the type of fellow that under promises but over delivers. Between the 2 bikes, we have ridden about 1500 miles so far and love the ability to pedal them, just like when we were 12 years old. However, when we get to a hill or simply get a little tired (my wife and I are both 65 years old) the electric power is there to help us. I am turning into an electric bike addict. I ride it to work and back, 10 miles round trip, take it to the grocery store and a lot of pleasure riding at the beach, parks, etc. Bottom line is quality products, great service with a smile, and the ocean view from Robbie’s EZ green store is awesome!

I purchased a Verve bike for 2300 (and spent another 200 for some modifications, like top notch lights, etc), and I’ve now put over 1000 miles on the bike in two months, because I commute from San Clemente to Irvine. I’ve lost 10 pounds, feel great, and think the electric bicycle is the fountain of youth (and will be a wave of the future, as young people move to walk-​able cities, and try to get by without a car).
I am so delighted with Robbie and his colleagues! He has done everything he promised and more.

I had a great experience at EZ Green Bikes regarding my kid’s Razor. Two days after he received the Razor e200 as a birthday gift I noticed a bulge in the tire. It was clear the retailer I bought the Razor from was not going to be able to address the issue and everything I read online regarding Razor after service support was not worth the hassle. I was going to order the replacement tire online but my son was bummed out he could not use the scooter so I called Robbie at EZ Green Bikes since he was local. I brought the old tire with me to make sure the replacement one I was going to buy was correct. As soon as Robbie saw the tire he exchanged it for free as a clear defect. I told him I didn’t buy the Razor there but he insisted it was covered by warranty and only asked I email him a copy of the original receipt and provide the serial number when I got home. I was blown away by this great service and willingness to do the exchange on a handshake. I am a big fan of EZ Green Bikes now and made it clear to my son on the way home what a good thing great customer service is. He agreed. Thanks Robbie.

Oh Good Golly EZ Green Bikes! My new favorite love! I went to check out this place for electric bike rentals. I LOVE the fact that you can use the bike in the traditional manner getting appropriate exercise BUT with the big hills in San Clemente when the terrain is just too tough I can slip into electric motor mode and get some aid. Genius concept! This place has oodles and oodles of bikes to choose from and I plan on having Robbie transform my existing hybrid bicycle into a battery operated one. When company come from out of town I have just the perfect afternoon planned!

THIS PLACE IS THE SPOT TO REPAIR YOUR ELECTRIC BIKE!!! Robbie is spectacular and he was able to repair my Ultra Motor quickly and efficiently. Also, they seem to have a great selection if you want to purchase an electric bike. Either way, I finally got my bike repaired and have been enjoying it ever since. This was about 4 months ago, and although this review is a little late, my bike still is working and I wanted to recommend this shop to anyone interested in a great mode of transport — Robbie, your the best. I loved this place.
We rented electric bikes from here and it was a great experience. The owner knows what he is talking about and is very nice.
The bikes were in good condition and rode well. They let us test them out before we made a decision for which bikes to rent. (They have electric, hybrid, and a tandem bike for rent).
They rent, sell, and repair electric bikes, and they really know a lot about electric bikes! (My husband knows a lot about them as well, and he was enjoying talking to them about what they like, since they obviously get to try more bikes than he does).
If you are looking to buy an electric bike, you should absolutely come here!
