I am renting an apartment in Laguna Hills and when my landlords wanted to change the carpet, they went to Tony. I’m not sure what the price was, but he was extremely kind through every step of the process and his installers were very quick and efficient with their work. When I own a home, I will 100% go to him!

This guy is very friendly, gives really good deals. I have refered many people and they are all very pleased.
I keep going back because he treats us so well.
He is to the point but knows what he is talking about.
His installers are on time and work fast, and do a good job.

We are extremely pleased with our wood flooring from Payless Carpet. Tony is pleasant, professional and his prices are most competitive.
The entire process was painless and hassle free. Juan, the sub-​contractor who installed the flooring, was punctual, professional, and efficient. It took 3 days to cover about 800 sq ft, brand new baseboards, and removal of old flooring were all included in the cost.

I used Tony to do two jobs, one was redoing the carpet and the other was putting stone in our bathrooms. I compared multiple people and not only did Tony have the best prices but he also was willing to work with me as we had a budget, he was so nice I felt like family. I had my bathrooms tiled 2 years ago. Tony provided a very good price and the installers he sent did a great job and were very nice gentlemen. I just recarpeted my entire upstairs and went back to Tony. I got a great price and again, quality installation.

I had my entire house carpeted by Tony in 2003 and was satisfied. 9 years later I was due for a second remodel involving carpet and tile. Tony was initially very helpful and gave me a quote on carpet and tile… sounded good and having already used him in the past, I paid upfront for the job in whole. After reviewing the invoice later at home, I asked Tony if he could breakdown the charges since it was a single dollar amount. He acted annoyed and in fast-​speak acknowledged a $ 50 error in tax. He also made an error in the measurements which resulted in an inflated length of carpet and a higher cost. He was also charging me $ 75 per box of «the very best» tile which did not cause alarm until I saw the exact same tile on Amazon delivered for $ 32. He said I was getting the best carpet than anywhere else… turns out he was pushing a polyester, not a nylon. In speaking with Tony about the price of the tile, the tax, and the carpet measurements, he began yelling at me for wasting his time with all these questions. This behavior was typical of someone padding the invoice. Speaking of padding, I asked Tony if I was getting a good pad and he raised his voice with me saying «of course, you think I sell you a bad pad»?! in his thick accent. The reason I asked was because we have 9 month old twins who are falling and I wanted a good pad for them. Every question was met with hostility despite being polite with him. My wife was shocked at how rude he was when asked simple questions. He reminded us of the soup guy on Seinfeld. Do your homework before you buy carpet and steer clear of this guy. I am doing my whole house with Lantern Bay carpet in Dana Point… very friendly, and helpful with product information, and pricing.

I had my whole house done by Payless Carpet in 2008. I also recommended him to my aunt and few friends. I highly recommend his service. I asked for hardwood floors in the living room, dining room, staircase and the hallway. The price was very reasonable and the wood is beautiful. The Brazilian Cherry brings the house to whole new level sophistication and adds gobs of value to the value of the house. For the Kitchen and the door entry I did tiles. They are ordinary. The bedrooms are carpeted by the same company, and while the color has lost it’s novelty for me, it’s still a great carpet. It’s easy to maintain, clean and despite being light colored, it does not get dirty. Tony is incredibly knowledgeable and you would be wise to listen to his recommendation. I wanted cheap carpets, and had I not listened to him, I would have already had to replace carpets.

The man that worked in this carpet store was so incredibly rude. He actually acted crazy and unpredictable which to me was a huge sign to not use them to install our carpet let alone allow them into our house.
Be very weary of doing business with them.
