Don’t know what to order? Some of our regulars’ favorites include the chicken parmigiana, eggplant parmigiana, chicken franchese, and our house seafood pasta, the Four Seasons. Augie’s Numero #1 Restaurant & Pizza opened its doors in 1989. Our mission is to provide delicious from-​scratch pizza and classic Italian dishes for our locals in a warm, friendly environment. With over 25 years in business, we look forward to serving you our neighborhood for many years to come!

Business Owner

Augie’s father Angelo was born in Licata, Sicily. In 1957 Angelo came to Brooklyn, New York and worked in a pizzeria. Within 2 years Angelo opened his first pizzeria and the rest is history. Being raised in the restaurant business it was only natural that Augie followed in his father’s footsteps and became the second generation of restaurateurs. Armed with over 50 years of experience and authentic Sicilian family recipes, Augie is taking it to the next level. Prepared with all of the family recipes, Augie is now bottling the family’s sauce offering it to you to take home, and he looks forward to many years of memories at Augie’s Numero #1 Restaurant & Pizza.
