History

Established in 2002.

Barts Tree Service started as a part time family business learning from other arborists and climbers and reading many books. As of today we have evolved to an ever growing full time operation with 10 people on staff and many ISA & TCIA courses and accreditations under our belt which led to us being certified ISA arborists, DEP licensed arborists, EHAP certified and CTSP certified. Our enthusiasm for the outdoors and love of trees keeps us pursuing our educational paths and ultimately providing our customers with an exceptional experience.

Very professional!
Barts tree service removed two trees and trimmed another very large tree near power lines at a reasonable price. They were quick responding when we had questions and provided proof of all licensing required. Barts arrived when they said they would and left the property in very good condition despite a difficult property to maneuver on.

If only ALL contractors were as easy to do business with as Barts Tree Service! The owner, Matt, has always been super responsive to my calls, provides quotes quickly and gets all work done to my quality standards in the time he promises to get them done. His business is highly qualified to do the work and his staff is always very professional. I have used Barts for tree pruning & care and snow roof/​ice removal, I feel very comfortable using them for this potentially dangerous work because they are certified safety professionals, certified arborists (very important, don’t let anyone else touch your trees!!) and fully insured! (also very important).

After reading the reviews of Bart’s Tree Service, I called them and another tree service I used in the past. Matt called first.
We agreed Matt’s team would remove a huge, fallen black cherry bough and remove an ash tree. Matt’s team was polite and amazingly fast.
BUT, they did not «remove» the tree; they chopped the tree down and left the bottom/​stump. The previous tree service removed the entire tree; Bart’s did not.
So: Matt and team are great but get Matt to define what he means by «tree removal» before you agree to service.

Usually, when selecting a tree service, you start by asking friends, relatives, etc. Well being new to our house and area we had to take a shot on a firm we found online. I was not disappointed
Matt, the owner was personable, Listened carefully to everything we wanted done and gave us a unable able fair price on the spot.
What impressed me was, when his crew came back to do the work, his team exceeded my expectations. Matt was directing them from his detailed notes and actually, doing a little more than was required.
I have had Bart’s back to do additional work, and the same thing, they exceed my expectations. Hard to find in this day and age. Highly recommended.
