5÷4÷2015WENTTOSTOCKUPFREEZERAFTER A VACATION… alot of vacant shelves. wanted coconut water… none…parsley…none…the frozen blueberries were mushy… had to take most out of freezer and get one from bottom… the kicker was when i went to pay with a Visa gift card .it would not accept it and the checker man know nothing of how to help me… and it was not crowded…(used it half hour later in Hannafords with no problem) …on top of that he gave me a single bag and it ripped in the parking lot. not a happy camper …

Of all the area markets, this is by far the most pleasurable to shop in. Because so much is marketed under their own labels, the prices are uniformly good. I always am pleasantly surprised when I pay, rather than rudely awakened! The quality of these products is also excellent. It’s not a huge store, so selection is a bit compromised. What I feel really sets it apart is the quality of their staff — they’re in the aisles offering to help you, they engage you in a friendly manner at checkout. The only reason I’m giving TJ’s 4 instead of 5 stars is that it can get awfully crowded and the aisles are pretty narrow. It is not a checkout problem, though, because they always seem to be sufficiently staffed to keep the lines short and moving.
