Into the Woods Art Gallery and Body Art Studio

I went here for a refresh on a tattoo while on a vacation in Florida. I sent an email in advance to several highly rated places asking if they could do this. Into the Woods was the ONLY one to respond, and did so in a professional way. I went to the studio and it was one of the most well run businesses (not tattoo studios) that I’ve been in. Friendly, customer-​focused, excellent computer system (for their protection and the customer’s). The artist did a great job on my tattoo and I was 100% pleased with everything about the experience, down to the email follow up with aftercare instructions.

Came from NY and was worried about finding a shop that I could come to and be comfortable. Stopped by here and got the 5 star treatment. Evan gave me a nice script banger on my shoulder and I couldn’t be happier. Definitely making this my go to place.

FIRST TATTOO.
I am so glad I chose I Into the Woods for my first tattoo. This studio is run by a group of professionals, polite and organized. Although this place quoted me the highest for my design, the price was well worth it — the facility is clean, welcoming, and the artists pay attention to what you want in a tattoo. My artist was Phil Sommers, a very chill guy who played good music. He was very clear on after care which I appreciated too. I can definitely see myself coming back here.

Quoted their minimum price of $ 300.00, would get me a ²¹⁄₂ inch tattoo. Not from the pics I brought in, but of his design. Want a sketch to know if you’ll like it? That will be 300.00 deposit, for the sketch of my 2 ½ inch tattoo. Eek! Methinks not is right! LOL!!!

Nothing but amazing things to say about my experience. This place was so clean and beautiful and artistic. Everyone was extremely helpful and nice (rare in tattoo shops where everyone seems pissed at the world all the time). I was tattooed by Phil sommers who was so patient helping me perfect my idea. I’m so thankful I found Into The Woods. It’s rare to find a local great tattoo shop but none that merits 5 stars. I accidentally stumbled upon this gem and I’m certainly glad I did. I walked in and first I was amazed at the space. It’s large, clean and the walls are enamored with amazing art work. The art work changes on occasion but I was made aware that they have art shows often considering it’s an art gallery.
The staff here is truly one of a kind. I’ve never experienced such great customer service at a tattoo parlor but everyone here was accommodating, friendly and not to mention the manager is hysterical! The tattoo areas were very clean and you can tell the artists take pride in their work.
My tattoo artist Evan went through every aspect of my tattoo size, placement and aftercare. He was attentive not to mention extremely talented. I got a bumblebee to represent my sister that passed and Evan did a perfect job. I’m in love with my tattoo!
I would without a doubt come here again for another tattoo and can’t wait to recommend this amazing shop to my friends and family. Fellow ink lovers, don’t miss this shop for your chance to get a tattoo done by true professionals.

The artist at Into the Woods all seem to be pleasant and skilled. I have 2 tattoos by Christa and absolutely love them. I am dying to get my next by her, unfortunately since she tattoo’d me she has gotten much busier, with good reason. She is just so talented. Sean did a Florida theme tattoo on me two days ago, and on top of enjoying the tattoo, I truly enjoyed the atmosphere and environment provided by the staff/​artists. I would recommend to anyone to check this place out for any style tattoo or artwork in general.

If you want anything more than a word on your finger or butterfly on your butt, I HIGHLY suggest you invest your money on ink here!
I had a couple of tattoos done before but this place left me floored. The quality of work they do here is top notch. Yes, it is expensive comparably but trust me you get what you pay for. I got an absolutely beautifully detailed cover up piece done by Joe Casal a few months ago and it still looks incredible fully healed. The shop itself is nothing like a traditional grungy tattoo shop. It is a very clean, professional, and friendly place. And you get to see some awesome art in the lobby!

I’ve been coming here for a while for their art shows which always have fantastic art for sale. This past weekend, my husband and I had the pleasure of being tattooed by Phil.
The tat area is extremely clean and professional, yet relaxed with more art! It’s a great place if you want an original piece designed by yourself or one of the artists.

I got a piercing done here. This place is beautiful, and clean. I love the art work everywhere and the flooring and decoration. Very professional and if I ever get any work done in South Florida again it will be here. My boyfriend got his entire piece done here by one of the girls and we love it!

this review is for Joe casal. I had an absolutely horrible experience with him that he refused to resolve in am amicable way, to the point where I had to contact my credit card company and report fraught billing me without any services rendered (I was refunded, proving the fraud was real). Joe was supposed to provide me with sketches in advance so we could discuss my planned $ 2000 ink. he didn’t do anything unti6i repeatedly called an emailed. the night before my appointment he sent me what he claims was a sketch, which was clearly a picture he too from Google images and just erased a few details on ms paint. this experience was so minbogglingly bad, especially since I was referred to him by a friend who has connections to the studio as his artwork is displayed there. I have physical disabilities and this tattoo was intended to cover them and alter my appearance in a positive way. instead of trying to work with me and see this as a unique opportunity to help someone alter their appearance, I was treated in am abhorrent manner. this experience was do bad I now fear going g to other studios =/​I really hope no one else has to go through such a terrible experience.

I came to Into the Woods, which was recommended by a friend, for my first tattoo. The shop was impeccably clean and comfortable. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. My tattoo artist, Jessica Brown, was extremely patient with me and made me feel at ease which was especially great with it being my first tattoo experience. She gave me exactly what I wanted & I am one happy lady! It is a small and simple tattoo and fits me perfectly :) I guess the rumors are true; once you get one, you want more. I’ll be back!

Got tattooed by Jhon Rodriguez last week and he is amazing. His ability to come up with something beyond extraordinary from something totally ordinary is second to none. He is pleasant to work with and a flawless tattooer.
Jhon is Highly, highly recommended.
The shop is clean, bright and beautiful. Easy to get to and with a private parking lot you dont have to worry about paying for parking.

Had an opportunity to get a piece done with an artist they had doing a guest spot. It was my first experience with this shop and I was very impressed. The resident artists/​staff were all very friendly and helpful, the artist area was clean and organized (even with hosting several extra artists it didn’t feel cramped). Overall a very nice environment. I would definitely go back.

This is a beautiful tattoo shop and art gallery, I highly recommend stopping in and enjoying the art. These are friendly people who live, eat, and breathe art.
These are not scratchers or some flea market shop, they have numerous top notch artists including Frank La Natra. Check out their portfolios you will not be disappointed. I have about 40 tattoos but my favorite one by far I got from one of their artists Christa Z.
Don’t waste your skin by displaying boring freckles, put some art on it!

This place is great! The artists are ridiculously talented! I will not go anywhere else for tattoos! Frank La Natra and Christa Zurich are not only amazing artists but incredible tattoo artists as well. The shop is beautiful too, unlike any tattoo shop I’ve been too! All around phenomenal place! Highly recommend it!
