Pronto New York Style Pizza

The sandwiches are excellent and the folks there are very nice. Overall its a great experience and the only place that I even consider when it comes to this type of food in this area. Knocks the competition out! The thin crust, big slices are extra cool too.

My family went to Pronto Pizza this passed weekend. Girl that took our order, not so friendly. We ordered a Caesar salad, cheese Pizza, and wings. The best part of the meal was the cup of water. Too much salad dressing, sauce on Pizza tasted like just tomato sauce from a can. No seasoning. Wings were dry and also not seasoned. Grocery store frozen Pizza was better than that nasty pizza.

In addition to flavorless sauce with rubber pepperoni, our pizza and salad were delivered without plates, napkins or forks. And yes, they knew they were delivering to a hotel.

All I can say is WOW! I take pizza seriously and this is by far the best pizza I have had anywhere in this neighborhood! Not to mention the friendly service and great specials! I have a pizzeria down the street from where I live which is decent but I would be willing to travel a little further to PRONTO PIZZA because it is so worth it! I wish I could give this review 100 stars!
UPDATE: My original review was after my first time going there. Since then I’ve gone back 3 more times and every time I go the pizza is completely different. On my first visit the pizza was thin and crispy and delicious, 2^nd visit it was paper thin and soggy and the last time I went it was much thicker and undercooked. I will say that the sauce was tasty every time but the style is not consistent. I’m guessing they have many different people making the pizza so it will be a surprise as to what style you will get!

Biggest NY slice of pizza I’ve ever had inside and outside of NYC! Lol. Great food, great owner, great service.

Due to some airline foolishness we were forced to stay overnight in the airport in Fort Lauderdale. By the time we were settled all of the airport restaurants were closed and we were starving! After calling area pizza places Pronto was one of the only ones that delivered. The pizza (meat lovers) was amazing and the driver was super patient as we tried to find each other in the airport. I’ll definitely visit again when I’m in the area.

This is our Friday lunch spot and it’s now an office tradition. Our friend who grew up in New York introduced us and he’s picky about pizza and he’s Italian so that says it all. They were highly recommended by the Italian Godfather! It’s worth the calories! Already looking forward to our Pronto’s pizza Friday in just a few hours!

This is a pretty «dynamite» little place to get your pizza! Ive been trying to get in here now for a little bit and finally made the trek in today.
I found it awhile back while traveling south on Federal Hwy in Dania Beach. I later went back and read the reviews and decided to bookmark it.
I originally tried ordering a couple slices of Sicilian style as it appears on the menu only to find they no longer offer it that way by the slice.
I think they actually did me a favor because I loved the regular thin crust. I went with the 2 slice special which I soon discovered I should’ve only ordered 1 slice. They had a special which was 2 slices of cheese and a drink for $ 6, not a bad deal.
I added spinach and mushrooms to mine which too about 5 – 10 minutes to come out. I also ordered a side salad which I ended up tossing out, mainly because the pizza slices were so darned big.
The sauce was bold and flavorful, just the right amount of cheese on top. My veggies were fresh and blended nicely amongst the melted in nicely with the cheese.
I managed to gobble down both slices cuz there was no way I was throwing away any of that pizza. Definitely ranks up in the top range of any pizza I’ve ever eaten.
They have sandwiches, salads and some other stuff but don’t bother just get the pizza, you’ll thank me later!
Also the directions in the Unilocal app were trying to route me funny. Heading south on Federal its just passed Stirling on your right and they have a nice private driveway.

I got delivery here one night and found it good, but not great.
The pizza tasted fresh and had a nice amount of cheese on it, but the overall pie had a somewhat cheap taste for some reason. I suspect it may have simply lacked a decent amount of spice or something. I bet adding a lot of toppings would help a lot, but I didn’t know that at the time.
I can definitely see going here for late night drunk pizza, but honesty I generally would prefer chains over this.

So excited to have a locally owned pizza place that delivers to our Dania Beach neighborhood. Pizza was good, but eggplant parmigiano was better. The sauce from eggplant would be amazing on the pizza! Crust and toppings were great and delivery was fast. We’ll definitely order again!

Raised in Brooklyn this has to be the closest New York style pizza. I recommend this place. Good luck

After a long day at the beach with our 2 dogs we decided to stop for some quick food. My boyfriend looked up the local pizza places for the best ratings and Pronto Pizza had the best ratings and reviews. We were excited to pull up and see patio seating so we respectfully asked if we could done outside with the dogs and she said yes. That was very nice, not sure if large breed are typically allowed so we were grateful. Then we decided on just a couple pizzas by the slice so she recommended the combo, saving a little is always nice so that was nice of her. She brought the slices out to us and they were huge. A bit greasy for our liking but hey, I guess that’s how New York style pizza is. It was really good too. She gave us several drink refills at no charge as well. I’d go there again. I’d be interested in trying their other menu items too.

A little on the short side with toppings.
Most authentic pizza joint in the city.
Kinda on the expensive side.
Clean place with outside seating.
Different pizza cooks on daily basis consistency lacks, must be elaborately descriptive of the pizza you want in case someone else is there making your pizza.
Overall good clean friendly quiet place to eat quality pizza.
After my review management offered a «comp» which I found to be very good customer service and changed my experience.

This is definitely my favorite pizza place in south Florida. The pizza tastes as close to New York style as you can get. On Tuesday and Thursday between 4&7PM slices are a buck. Service is excellent, the staff are nice and the pizza is yummy.
Enjoy my friends enjoy. You will not be disappointed.
PS they will be serving beer and wine shortly.

This is easy. Best NY style pizza in SoFlo. My kids love the chicken parm sub and Caesar salad. fresh ingredients make for good food. prices are very reasonable. Décor is very cool with an awesome mural on the side of the building.

Not a huge fan of this place because I personally am sort of a pizza snob. But it way better then disgusting commercial pizza places like dominoes or pizza hut.
Service is good. If you are dining in it’s not always the greatest atmosphere they have some work to make it but overall not that bad. Clean and friendly service.

Really great pizza and cheese bombs.
I’ve been to pick up and have had delivery.
Delivery can take a while, but they deliver within 5 miles and it’s always fresh.
My only complaint is their cannolis are always soft. They are supposed to have a crunchy shell, but it’s always soft/​stale.

So came in the the first time tonight. We’re big on Unilocal and the reviews on this place seemed great.
Now I’m not a big pizza eater, but the pizza here was fantastic. We ordered half cheese and half pepperoni and sausage (because I don’t like it). To explain how good the pizza was, I was eating pepperoni and sausage by the end of our meal. It was cooked perfectly and the meats tasted great.
We also ordered plain cheese bombs (located on the online website) they are garlic rolls stuffed with mozzarella cheese. They were really good perfect on the farm is however the cheese inside could have been melted better. They are served with pizza sauce which complimented the rolls.
The experience was great customer service did not fail. Everyone was super nice and very helpful.
Looking forward to try this place again.

Really surprised by this place! I called in to place an order for delivery but was told the delivery would be at least an hour… I asked how long it would take if I pick it up and was told 20 min… so I placed my order for a large (16″) pepperoni and extra cheese pizza and was on my way over.
Upon arriving, there wasn’t much parking spaces available, occupied or not… the lot is very small. I had to park in handicap (or depending on how you look at the picture, it’s just a person with a rather large behind).
They have outside seating which looked nice and comfy with cushioned benches and big umbrellas to keep you shaded. Inside is small but cozy and the woman behind the counter is very friendly and engaged in playful banter with the customers in line ahead of me. She let all of us behind the people she was currently assisting know she’d be right with us.
My pizza came out promptly and it smelled so good, I couldn’t wait to get home to try it. The slices were huge and the pizza looked a lot bigger than a 16″. The pizza was hot, the toppings were generous and the sauce was delicious! The pizza was a tad greasy but that’s how I like it, especially for hangovers. My 4 year old scarfed down two huge slices and seemed to enjoy every bite of it followed by many «mmm’s» in between bites.
The prices are very fair, pizza is delicious, and service was great!
I’m very excited for this place and am so happy it’s right down the street from me… I will definitely be returning.

This is the BEST pizza in Dania Beach, I have lived and traveled all over the country so I know good pizza.
Staff is fabulous and the owner is a super nice.
