I have to say I am so disappointed with cooperate Home Depot. I went today to purchase an Whirlpool over the range microwave. On sale $ 198 from $ 399. only to be told they do not have them in stock. When I asked when they would get the next delivery they told me they do not carry them and there would be no delivery. I would have to order it and have it delivered to my home for an additional $ 59.shipping fee. I asked if I could have it delivered to the store and, again was told no. I had to have it delivered to my house with the additional shipping fee on me. If I wanted to spend $ 270 and have something shipped to my house I would have shopped online. There were no signs posted stated. Here is this beautiful item. By the way we don not carry it in stock. We never will and, if you want it you will have to pay extra for it to be shipped to your house because we do not let you pick it up at the store!

bad experience today. I was trying to match up a wall plate for an antiquated phone connection. NOBODY could help. Plenty of workers standing around. Everybody I approached said it wasnt their dept. Even customer service paged the electronic dept but no response. Finally I got someone in charge of customer service who helped me and it took less than 2 minutes in a place I would have never found. Honestly, im a sixty plus woman and I’d like to hire a 25 year old décor with a mini dress and see how long it takes her to get help. I have found that. particular location the worse.

Rocco in the paint department is truly one of the best. My husband took on a somewhat difficult project this summer of trying to match the exact color of a cabinet which had taken on a slight pinkish hue or patina over the years. Rocco helped adjust pickling stain with pigmentation and we were able to match the new cabinets to the existing cabinets perfectly. He has been patient and knowledgable every time we’ve visited the paint department and it’s nice to count on his expertise for our painting needs.

I waited for help in appliances for 20 minutes straight. Despite repeated calls for assistance, no one came. When I asked for help a third time, the clerk said, «Just wait. Someone will come.» Who has time for that? I stopped at the front desk on my way out and spoke with the supervisor. His unapologetic response was that they’re a little short staffed. It was a Wednesday evening and the store had very few customers in it, but no one seemed to be assigned to appliances. I’m skipping this location in the future and will take my business elsewhere.

Awesome, especially Neil, Burt and Melissa in paint. Managers like Brady, Shawn, Jim and Sara are so helpful. Best Home Depot by far in the Northeast!

Went here after the debacle at the other Danvers store. All my plywood was cut in a quick, professional manner. I would tip the guys if I could. All the cuts all done right and even the cashier was super nice. I will only go to this store now.

Went to get blinds cut and got an attitude from an old gentleman named Dick. Told him the length needed and he cut it too short. I went back the same day to have a new one cut and I got an attitude and reminded that I cost Home Depot $ 60. Poor customer service at Danvers Home Depot. The kicker was when I went to the return line with the newly cut blind he came all the way up there and reminded the girl working not to return my product if I come back with it again. Nice customer service! Thinking about canceling my Home Depot card or just not ever going to the Danvers one again.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Home Depot is awful. Nobody knows what they’re doing or where to find something. I had a simple fitting I needed for a hose and the guy had no clue what I needed and searched up and down the massive store for a half hour before I said forget it. I drove down the street to Danvers hardware where they were able to help me in 2 minutes find exactly what I needed and even gave me a discount. I will never return to Home Depot. Small town hardware stores are the place to go!

This is one of the better Home Depots, and through my recent home renovation projects have spent a ton of time there over the last few months. Compared to the other Danvers store its well organized, clean, and well managed. Same goes for the others in the area. One thing I like is that you can usually find decent lumber; they seem to cull out the junk as it gets picked through rather than just leave it on the shelf over and over. Service can be somewhat difficult to get without asking for it-as it feels as if this store is staffed slightly less than normal. I have rented a tool or two; can’t give the rental transaction highly as the clerk gave me the hint i was bothering him but upon return got the total opposite attitude. Who knows. The paint folks have been good to me; sometimes it can take a while if they have a whole mess of stuff to mix ahead of you in line but so it goes. Overall I’d recommend this one over the others.

It’s Home Depot, I get that it’s not going to be some awe-inspiring review or whatever, but what I don’t understand is WHY for the love of all that is holy it took multiple trips to buy gutter spouts. What the hell else is on that aisle that they constantly have it closed when I head there? Other than the gutter spout incidents and the fact that the young guy in the paint department looks bored out of his mind by everything he’s asked to do(the older guy is super helpful, though!), almost everyone else I’ve talked to here has been helpful and informative.
