Handworks An Artisan’s Show Place

I really enjoyed browsing through this little shop and came away with a few treasures. This is a cutesy little boutique type store which has different vendors which sells their own products, many hand made in different little areas of the store. There are vendors that specialize in different types of jewelry, doll clothes and furniture, night lights, food items such as fudge and dip mixes, and even books and girl scout related items.
I bought some lavender sugar that I plan to use in my tea and in baking sugar cookies. mmm… I also bought six or seven children’s books which were all hardbacks and looked new but were priced between $ 3.00 and $ 5.00. These were high interest books (one was by Dr. Seuss) and looked to be in perfect shape!
I think I may need to go back and try some of the fudge, which came in many flavors. One of the flavors was watermelon, and it actually looked like a wedge of watermelon with layers of green and red, and chocolate «seeds».
