It’s our first year on the team and the kids are loving it. The coaches are excellent! Each one has extensive swimming and coaching experience, and it shows during their practice workouts. They’re patient, knowledgable, building good rapport with each swimmer and gives good feedback so that there is stroke improvement. I’d recommend this team to any newcomer! It’s well organized, fun, and a great summer family activity that keeps everyone in shape.

Contrary to the previous review, my family had a wonderful experience with the Sycamore Stingrays this year. We were new to the team and I had two of my three children swimming(as the youngest is not old enough.) I never expected it to go so well! At each meet they had anywhere from 2 – 3 events, very rarely 4. I never felt that they were slighted on events. 2 events seemed to be the norm. Now that I have a «rookie» season behind me I’m sure next year will go even smoother. If you are considering the swim team experience, I would whole-heartedly recommend the Sycamore Stingrays team. Yes, of course as with all other kid-sports there are a handful of parents that run the show. Anyone who wants to volunteer can find a way to do so, I’m sure of that.
