With all of the 4 and 5 star reviews, I was really expecting a «Wow» experience. It’s OK. I would even venture to say, «Slightly above average». The pizza is descent, but certainly not the best available(Johnny’s on Chester Pike, among others) was much better. Service was efficient, but I’d expect nothing less from a place like this. All in all, a pretty average pizza experience.

In order to be the proper«Guru of Eating Mac Dade Blvd», you have to take yourself out past Oak Lane every now and then. On a whim, I found this place on the Unilocal app. Now, the first thing I will say is that being a baseball history fan, I really appreciated that this place pays homage to the Hilldale Daisies. Not many people in this area realize that they had a Negro League team in Darby. So I really liked the name, and I really liked seeing the history on the walls here. Kudos for that! The food is what matters in the long run. Seeing previous reviews here, I was disappointed when I got here that they didn’t have any slices other than basic pepperoni and cheese. But I got here around 8 in the evening. Perhaps they only put out the good stuff during the day or it gets bought up. But I was happy with the chicken salad hoagie I ordered. Call it 3 ½ stars for the food, and an extra bump up for the friendly staff and for the décor. Plus, the ability to grab a cold beer out of the case with your hoagie will always go a long way.

The pizza is great And the place us clean. But the crowd us always mad suspect. But being on the border of Darby one roils expect that. Great beer selections if you don’t want to hit up the beer distributor.

Great pizza! I fell in love with a slice of white pizza last weekend and went back tonight for more. Killer pizza. The place is under new management and I hope it lasts. Its like Xanadu in there with a great selection of take out beer and it opens right into a laundromat. I know –what could be better, right? I could spend the day there eatin pizza, drinkin beer and washin clothes like a true Delco-ian. Try it you’ll love it!

What a great pizza. I should start by saying i am a pizza snob. This place blew my mind. It’s not in a neighborhood i overly like to spend my nights in buy my boyfriend wanted to try them out one night. He got a pineapple, ham and bacon pizza and i got mushrooms and spinach. They were both amazing. They also have lots of to go beer if your into that kind of thing. Check out their website for the other stuff they do.
