So first off I have to start this review by stating that 2015 was the WORST year for cars that I have ever had. Lost our Mazda to who knows what, had the engine on our 2012 Hyundai Sonata seize on the middle of 195 for no known reason, and totaled our Subaru Legacy (replacement for the Mazda) all in one year. So you can imagine the frustration we had with cars and finance when we walked into Colonial Honda looking to end our streak of bad luck. We had the pleasure of working with Andrea, she was extremely helpful and not pushy in any way! It was nice to have a female to deal with seeing as we are both females as well. But that aside Andrea was accommodating and helpful throughout the whole process which ended up in us leaving the dealership with a brand new Honda Accord sport. This was the best car buying experience we have ever had.
Second part to my review, the bad luck did not end in 2015 and carried on to last week. My wife and I woke up to our brand new car that we absolutely love, stripped of all its pride and glory. All four tires were robbed from right in front of our house. So this being said, we made a vow that we didn’t want any other shop handling our car. We wanted colonial Honda do handle the repair. After speaking to various tow companies we were advised against towing a car with no tires. So we called Honda for a solution. ANTHONY exceeded all expectations I could ever have for a service rep. He always called me back in a timely manner and worked with us and our insurance to make it work. Even had to send out his technicians to our house to replace the tires. He was such a pleasure to speak too and kept me and my wife in good spirits. He had new tires ready to go the next day, so that the work could be done as soon as insurance got its act together.
So I give a shout out to everyone at Colonial Honda but if you want to buy a car see Andrea and if you have any of the bad luck we have had (which I hope you don’t) go directly to Anthony! They won’t disappoint. Unless of course your expectations are unrealistic !!!

I wanted to lease a car for my mother and Colonial was the third dealer I called. I had to repeatedly explain what I wanted (4 times at 1 dealer). I worked my way to the sales manager and then had to listen to all of the reasons why the transaction could not be done because I live out of state.
I called Colonial and spoke with Tabitha and Chip. They made it work. Pleasantly and without hassle. I paid a few hundred dollars more and was happy to do so. They treated me professionally and treated my mother like gold.

The two good things about this place was the car selection and our sales person Peter. My wife and I were looking for a new car for her and are interested in the pilot. We test drove one and wanted to look at numbers. So we talk with our salesman he goes and talks to the sales manager comes back with a terrible offer. In the offer the now tell us there is a «prep» fee. Which he says is so when they take a car in trade it helps off set the cost of repairs for the car goes on sale. Then says if we want it to be certified we have to pay another 995. So they are basically adding 2000 to the price of the car to make repairs to it before they sell it to you. Then I ask about the price of the car he says what do u want to pay. So I give him a figure he goes to the sales manager now the sales manager comes over and talks to us. Basically from that conversation he never talked about the price of the car he just tried to sell us a different car. My wife and I were both really confused on why he would want to try to sell us a different car. We are not in a jam for a car so we were just trying to get some ideas on what we wanted. So we were very disappointed with the sales manager and how he talked to us.

I needed a part for my Honda Odyssey in a hurry and after searching online, I found Colonial’s prices to be very competitive. Well I ordered the part and it arrived very quickly and was just what I needed.

When I wanted to sell my old CRV they were very helpful with good communication. I would recommend them to anyone who owns or wants to own a Honda.

I had a great experience with Andrea at Colonial Honda in Dartmouth. I leased a 2015 CRV.
I live on the Cape so by default I went to Hyannis Honda. I did not have a good experience there. They overprice everything because they don’t think cape codders will drive over the bridge for a better deal.
First at colonial, I talked to Chip, who was very easy to deal with and straightforward. He sent me to Andrea, who was so attentive, friendly and kept in touch through the whole process. I felt comfortable calling her and never once felt like I was bugging when I asked questions. They kept the price the same from phone to site and they kept their word through the process. I can’t say enough good about this dealership. They also fed me while I was waiting for my paperwork. I’d send my friends and family here for sure. Especially as a woman who has dealt with mostly males in the car biz it’s nice to deal with a kind female salesperson. And I will return.

Oh this car dealer is special. LOL its worth the time to shop there but only for the laugh. I ALMOST bought a car there until they tried to add $ 400 to the deal. The salesman explained it was to clean all the cars on the lot. Huh? Just stupidity.

Slow to process out of state transactions, but overall a good experience. Went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied.

This will be my 4^th vehicle I have leased from Colonial Honda in Dartmouth, MA. All my experiences have been great but this last visit was outstanding. My sales consultant, Jason Lopes went above and beyond. I would recommend Colonial Honda to anyone that is looking to buy or lease a vehicle !!!

There are three things I consider when buying a car: machine, money, and the salesperson.
I can’t speak for everyone at the dealership, but I can certainly vouch for Jason (Jay). You can tell that Jay loves cars and loves his job. He’s in it for the customer relationship, and it shows. His enthusiasm was refreshing and made the process of buying a car a lot more enjoyable. He was also extremely patient with my indecisiveness and helpful at guiding me as a first-​time buyer. If you ever go there, ask for Jay — you will not regret it!
As for the money, I found the car I was looking for online already marked $ 2K below the TrueCar and KBB estimate. The dealership already posts their cars at a very low price to get people through the door. There’s still some wiggle room for negotiation but you need to have some good levers to bring the price down. Remember, a good deal is one where everyone wins. I’m glad that Jay understood that and helped represent me (and not the dealership) when talking to his manager about bringing the price down. WIN!
Finally, the machine. I test drove three cars in this dealership. They had a good collection but I fell in love with one specific piece of art. I bought the car and have no regrets over the past 2 weeks of driving it. I definitely feel like I got the better end of the deal, as everyone should.
When I returned a week later to finish up some paperwork, Jay threw in some floor mats and other goodies that I didn’t even ask for, after the deal had already closed! There was no need for him to give extra stuff away but it sure won me over.
I’d definitely recommend these guys to other people (specifically, Jay). They were an hour’s drive for me from Boston, but it was definitely worth it.

While waiting an hour to go on a road test today I heard a service writer say «put my MAN-​aisse on her bun». This place is super unprofessional. However, based on other reviews it looks like their parts ordering on-​line is on lock. At least they’ve got something going for them.

I am always thankful when people share advice on how to buy a car, so here is my attempted and hopefully you the reader will use my advice, go to TRUECAR and look up the car you want to buy. This website will make sure you get the best deal.
I recently went back to Colonial, yes after the horrible service and lies. I did not purchase a car instead things there are still the sameso many lies from the managers their. I went in and they offered way too low amount for my trade in, then several days later called me again to come back and they will give me more but I have to buy the car. I never made the purchase.

I am sitting in the waiting area while my car is in for a routine service. We have purchased 3 Honda CRVs from Colonial Honda and have always retuned for our service although we live 45 miles away and have a new Honda Dealership within 5 minutes of our home. This will be my last visit and not because of service, but because the dealership keeps the bathroom locked so customers are unable to use it without seeking permission. When I voiced my displeasure to the managers, the response was «We have had many complaints regarding the condition of the bathrooms.» To which my reply was «guess it is easy to keep them clean if no one can use them.»
By the way, my husband just used the men’s facility and «No Key Was Needed.» The facility is available without seeking permission.” Another example of gender discrimination at our car dealership!
As for the actual service on my cars, they have all been relatively new cars and needed only routine service — no problems — the service dept has been accommodating.

Ordered running boards for my Honda Pilot from Colonial Honda’s on-​line store, it was easy to maneuver around and straight forward to order. Prices were the best on-​line also.

I had the pleasure of buying a 2014 Honda CRV at Colonial Honda of Dartmouth. The sales person, Chris Britto was terrific. He answered all of my questions and got me a great deal. Very professional and not pushy whatsoever. Ask for Chris!

I made an appointment for an annoying noise inside our 2012 Odyssey van. They had a service technician ready within 5 minutes to road test the van. The service technician was pleasant knowledgeable; At the same time had the oil and the cabin filter changed. The work was completed in a very timely manor. They gave us very reasonable rates, and didn’t try to over sell. Frankly they have an awesome service team, and coming from me that’s saying a lot! As for purchasing a new Honda product, I recommend skipping the entry level models; you’ll be happier and get it back when you sell. It’s our fifth Honda over 15 years. I can recommend Colonial from my experience.

Great place for purchasing on line accessories at a great price. Excellent customer service answers all your questions. I will go back again to order more accessories you can’t go wrong with this dealer.
