History
Established in 1950.
Louis G. Sylvia Sr. established our commitment to professionalism and customer service when he founded the agency in 1950 as a sole proprietorship. His son Vincent P. Sylvia Sr. joined the agency in 1960 and became President in 1970, when Louis Sylvia retired. The agency’s third generation began when Vincent Sylvia’s daughter Maureen Sylvia Armstrong entered the business as Agency Manager in 1986. In 2003, Maureen and her sister Beth Sylvia Caldwell, who had joined the company in 1998, purchased the agency.
