Established in 2013.

Abernathy’s is a vintage and handmade boutique in downtown Davenport, owned and operated by Becca Clark and Red Perreze. The two met eight years ago in LeClaire working for a small handmade co-​op. Together, the two formed Abernathy’s in 2013 based on their love of vintage, the strange and unusual, and handmade items that posses a uniqueness specific to alternative lifestyles.

Business Owner

Becca Clark is a vintage collector, seamstress and love of all things outrageous. Becca learned to sew at the age of 8 from her great great grandmother and continued sewing through 4-​H programs. Her early influences for designing clothing came from creating her own clothing out of necessity. Altering band t-​shirts, recycling and re-​purposing existing items. Becca has been selling vintage and handmade pieces for 7 years on Etsy through her brand, Unforgiven Vintage.

Red Perreze is a finder of bones, jewelry designer, and creator of rustic oddities. Red, a licensed cosmetologist, seasoned burlesque performer, and manager/​performer for a traveling side show troupe. Red’s inspirations for her jewelry design come from natures raw and rustic elements with an added twist of glamour and a touch of the macabre. Red has been designing jewelry, accessories, and home décor for the past 7 years for her brand, Goathead N’ Bunny.
