Davidson Day is the Lake Norman area’s only independent, college prep school for ages 2 – 18.
History
Established in 1999.
Originally called Acclaim Academy, Davidson Day moved from a former factory into an $ 11 million building off I-77 at Exit 30 in 2007. A year later, a $ 2 million Arts & Athletics Center was added to the campus. With capacity for 600 students at that site and enrollment steadily rising, Davidson Day plans to build a new campus for grades 7 – 12 in south Iredell within the next few years.
