The Village Store has been a community gathering place in the heart of Downtown Davidson for 45 years. We offer a large and varied selection of gifts — from traditional to funky and everywhere in between.

Our well-​known lines include Virginia Candle, Wilton Armetale, Klutz, Manhattan Toy, Gamewright, Banded headbands, White Mountain puzzles, Fontanini, Caspari and Tervis tumblers. We are proud to feature a fantastic array of NC pottery, garden items, flags and mailwraps, books, kids’ and baby gifts, and women’s accessories of all types.

We stopped in to browse around after lunch on Mother’s Day. This is a cute little store with all kind of gift worthy items. Some are more pricey than others, but there is something for all budgets. They even put out a pitcher of OJ and a bottle of champagne along with donut holes and muffins for guests to enjoy since it was Mother’s Day.
I like little local stores like this; if you are in the area, stop in and shop!

When moved to Davidson this summer was looking for a quaint store to be my go to store for gifts! I found it at The Village Store! Love their gifts, free gift wrap and friendly help. Went to their holiday open house and found several gifts and took a couple of my out of town friends with me.

What a fabulous store! With the holidays around the corner, you’ll want to bring your shopping list here. They have something for everyone!
They carry commercial items and also speciality items handcrafted from local artists. I found lots of great items and have already crossed off some things off my Christmas list. The best part is, this place has a great price point! I felt like I got great quality items for prices that didn’t break the bank.
The employees are super friendly and eager to help. They asked whether my purchases were gifts and gave me gift bags. Love the service.
Take an afternoon, grab lunch or coffee from a nearby place and shop ’til you drop in this gem of a store in Davidson!

I adore this store, not only for it’s authentic small-​town vibe, but the variety of gifts, life’s little luxury items and seasonal décor. I love that I can find a $ 1 lime green toothpaste tube squeezer next to a $ 70 Vera Bradley. If you (like me and some of my girls) love stationary and randomly hysterical cards, take a gander at their notes for some LOL doozies. I avoid buying books here b/​c they charge full retail and can’t compete w/​Amazon, but everything else is comparably priced w/​the bonus of being located in the heart of enchanting Davidson.
