I am sorry to find out that this company has deteriorated considerably. I have been a customer for over 12 years, have purchased 2 brand new home units, a major installation for a business, have used them for service and repairs, and have referred many people to them. As usual I had them come out to my home to do regular maintenance on the A/​C unit they installed. The tech came and completed service. I gave him a $ 150 check for service he completed plus another service in 6 months (part of a service plan they offer). Soon after he left I noticed my thermostat was not working. Everything was in perfect working order before he came. I called back and he came back. Thermostat was stuck on 79 and not changing no matter how much cooler I made it. He couldn’t figure out why. He went outside and said I needed freon that he would need to charge me for. Now he was just here on a service call and left and didn’t mention anything about needing freon. I questioned this and he said he made a mistake by «trusting me» when I said I was having no issues. I refused to pay for something he neglected to do and what seemed to be an issue brought on by him when I had already paid for service call and maintenance. He added freon and temperature in house seemed to be getting cooler, but thermostat reading still would not change from 79. He installed a new thermostat and said he would advise office that I shouldn’t be charged for freon or thermostat as everything was in working order prior to his visit. He was defensive, saying «I don’t just come in people’s house and break their thermostat. Ok, so now a week later and new thermostat (one not as nice as our original that we bought from them) makes consistent clicking noise and A/​C humming a new sound. I called office to express concern. I was told they would have to charge me for a service call as I did not pay for new thermostat. Again everything was in working order before tech came out. I said I would not pay for them to come out to check something they obviously messed up. I asked for $ 75 back for service in 6 months. Spoke to manager Jarred who was acted like anything but a manager and said he’d give $ 75 back, but would have to come get thermostat. I said and what leave me with no thermostat? I have easily spent over $ 50K with this company between personal and business and he thinks I’m being petty over a $ 100 thermostat? Obviously my business is not important to them. Now I have an A/​C that clicks very often when it was perfectly fine before they came out for regular maintenance. Very rude, unprofessional, and not smart as far as business goes. Oh and I forgot to mention, tech left my outdoor gate open when he knew about my 3 dogs. You not only lost a good customer, but be sure I’ll let the people I know that I referred to you not to use your services anymore.

Aloha sent Joe for an estimate to repair my AC unit. Although it was under warranty, he said they have a fixed price of $ 475 to replace the motor. Since i had to pay them $ 90 for an estimate I gave them the OK thinking it was a big job. Big mistake! The repair guy cut out a section of my wall in order to reach the motor. It took him an hour and a half to replace the motor and then he said that he was not going to replace the part of the wall that he removed. When I called and spoke to Jared the manager he said he never would have touched the unit. And that they are not contractors. I reminded him that Joe came out and saw the unit to begin with and was well aware of where it was located. I told him he needed to put the wood built around the unit back the way it was. It was shoved back in there but looks like crap! Then the repairman could not find his credit card reader so I paid him cash. Another mistake! He evidently was not too good at math and the email receipt you sent me was wrong. I have requested an updated receipt from them now three times and still have not gotten one. Steer clear of Aloha!

I had this company come to check a leak on my A/​C unit, the first Joe came to my house, he was great, fixed the problem and was very professional. I was there in person and met with him.
A few days later, my other A/​C unit (I have two, one in each side of the house) stopped cooling, so I called them again, I asked for the same Joe to come but they sent another Joe (second Joe). This time I couldn’t stay home for this visit and my wife did, this guy came, checked the unit and on the phone he told me there were three leaks on the unit and that it would cost $ 600 to repair and add coolant. I made some calls and the next day I got it fixed for $ 175 by another company… the leak wasn’t so bad and it costed me ¹⁄₃^rd of the quote Aloha gave me.
when I called to complain about this I was told I had to still pay $ 95 for the visit (!!!) so pretty much I had to pay to them to come and try to rip me off… no matter how much I tried to reason with them they didn’t bow so I ended up paying the fee but I told them I would write this review.
I am a firm believer of reviews and the power of us clients to share these experiences, I hope this helps you.

They showed up for the estimate appointment on time then I called and scheduled service. They called this morning at my start time to tell there was a mistake in scheduling the labor to have my 4 air ducts cleaned. Will see if they make it next week and will update review. As for now, I’m pissed about taking a day off work and holding off on moving my furniture into the house.

Fast and rapid response when my AC unit took a dive! Aloha Air Conditioning Inc. was very professional and provided the service my unit needed. I would highly recommend them to my family and friends.

I was very impressed with the service I received from Aloha air conditioning and the technician. The company called me and showed up on time, the technician was very knowledgeable, and took extra steps to resolve my issue, after consulting his supervisor. I would highly recommend you to any family and friends if I am ever in a position to do so. Thanks for the great service.

They never showed up for my first call to fix my AC and give me an estimate on replacement. «We called and can’t get through to the driver». They rescheduled for «first thing the in the morning, 9am» and called to tell me that the driver was on the way. No one ever showed up. The joke is on them as I’m giving a big chunk of business to someone else.

I called 4 AC companies to get quotes. 3 called back, aloha was prompt and gave me the best quote. finally, my house is cool again

My air conditioning was on the fritz last week. Seems to always go down in August… Aloha Air came by on time as they had stated and provided great service.
Their technicians were professional and were able to fix the problem, having my air conditioner back up and running in no time.
I would call them for AC repair again for sure.

My AC freon was low so I called them to come out. I am NOT exaggerating here, they charged me $ 380, for FREON. IF I Could give them 0 stars I would. I Have a pic of their receipt if ANYONE wants a copy. I kid you not, $ 380 for freon. I cannot imagine if I needed a real repair what they would charge.
I would not recommend these people to anyone. BEWARE !!!
